Interaction with Guests
I will be present during your stay (staying just upstairs) and would be glad to help you find your way around into Dublin and let you know where to go or whats going on.
Safe and convenient central Dublin location only a 15-20 minute walk to the city centre depending on how fast you like to walk ;)
There's a bus stop outside the door which will take you to the city center in 5 minutes. We recommend taxing Uber to the airport which will cost approximately €16. We can also provide our guest for a code for €20 Uber credit if they have never used the app before.
Other Things to Note
Unfortunately there is no parking with the house, but there is paid street parking out front (free on Sunday's)
The house is no smoking, but there is a lovely bench out the front to have a cigarette if you wish.
Patrick was very helpful and laid back. He was very easy to communicate with and was available when we needed him. The flat itself was nice. It was a little farther from the city centre than I thought, but Patrick had been clear about that in the listing. Just be aware that it is a 20 minute walk to get to Trinity College and Temple Bar. It is in a quiet neighborhood though, which was appreciated. We had a great stay!
Patrick was a great host, very accommodating and flexible, and made our stay very easy and relaxed. The room was perfect for our needs and we would recommend it to anyone who was looking for accommodation in a chilled out and youthful environment within strolling distance of the city centre. Overall, our experience was very positive.
This has been my only Airbnb disappointment. Unfortunately the room was nothing like the picture in the listing. My room was dark. The house was essentially a large rooming house with a multitude of rooms. You have to read the listing carefully to see what is excluded, so there is a kitchen but you won't have access to it. I would have preferred clearer details of what the place was like and what was available. I could have made a more informed choice. If you are looking for a basic place to stay then this fulfils the criteria, but you won't have any contact with anyone else. After I expressed my disappointment to the landlord, he was fair about my leaving early and refunding the balance.

Bathroom was very dirty. It was a shared bathroom with other guests, which we didn't expect, as it wasn't mentioned in the description. Other guests came back at 4am and lined up in front of our room for the bathroom.
Room hasn't seen a vacuum cleaner.
Patrick and his housemates were very welcoming from the start. The place was clean and very close to the city centre. It was ideal, especially for my short visit.
The reservation was canceled 22 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
