Escape to our solar-powered family beach house, set right on the dunes of Myoli Beach along South Africa’s breathtaking Garden Route. Surrounded by coastal greenery, this private retreat lets you wake to the sound of waves and birdsong while enjoying uninterrupted ocean views from the upper sundeck.

Private steps lead down from the dune directly onto the beach. Love the outdoors? Spend your days fishing, surfing, kite surfing, or simply soaking up the peaceful rhythm of seaside living.

The Space
This relaxed and welcoming beach house sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 spacious bedrooms and features a fully fenced garden, ideal for children and small pets. 🐾 A once-off R500 pet fee per stay applies. Please declare pets when booking.

Lower Level:
King-size main suite with luxurious en-suite (bath, shower, bidet, double basins, heated towel rail) and access to the outdoor Jacuzzi. Two twin bedrooms share a full bathroom, and a fourth bedroom offers a double bed with private shower.

Upper Level:
Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, wine fridge, ice maker, and coffee station. Open-plan lounge with plush seating and Smart TV (DStv, Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+). Spacious dining area and free Wi-Fi throughout.

Outdoor Living
Jacuzzi outside the main bedroom for starlit soaks. Hammock-style sun net for relaxing above the garden. Gas braai (no open flames) and pool table for easy entertaining. The garden, bordered by natural dunes and fynbos, ensures privacy and tranquility. The sundeck is perfect for sunsets, whale watching, or quiet morning coffee, and the private dune steps lead directly down to the beach.

Sedgefield is surrounded by lakes and sand dunes and situated between Knysna and George.

The central area of Sedgefield (The Village) together with the Island (Extension 1) form part of the original town area. Since then, the extensions of Smutsville, Sizamile, Groenvallei, Myoli Beach and Cola Beach were added to provide residences for the approximately 8000 permanent inhabitants of Sedgefield.

The town’s main economic activity revolves around tourism, with secondary activities centered on serving the needs of local residents and regional farmers.
The laid-back rustic village atmosphere is reflected in the town’s motto of being a place where ‘the tortoise sets the pace’. Sedgefield is the first African member of the Cittaslow movement.
A popular attraction is the Wild Oats market which attracts large numbers of tourists and residents from the region every Saturday morning with fresh produce and local crafts.
A golf course (the ‘Fynbos Links’), tennis court and bowls field caters to the significant portion of retired permanent residents of the town.

Local natural attractions include Gericke’s lookout point which resembles the profile of a resting lion and the protected natural dune areas which harbours Cape Fynbos plantations and rare bird species.
