The Space

Welcome to my home!

I am currently renting my lovely Victorian first floor apartment which has a sunny south facing garden. It has two double bedrooms and a bright and spacious loft room (accessed via a ladder from the master bedroom) which contains a double bed and has space for an additional double air mattress if required. The apartment therefore comfortably sleeps 6 and can accomodate up to 8... If you're not good with heights, there's also the option to have the air mattress in the lounge (instead of the loft) if you prefer.

There is also a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, plenty of hot water in the bathroom and of course the lovely garden. As well as free wifi, fresh linen and towels and endless tea and coffee.

Hopefully the photos will help you get a feel for the place.....all the rooms contain many of the original features, including victorian fireplaces and sash windows in each room.

The apartment is peacefully located just a 10 mins walk from the nearest tube station (Leyton on the central line), but only a stones throw from the heart of London and one stop from the Olympic Park and the brand new Westfield Stratford City, which has lots of shops, restaurants, and entertainment (multi-screen cinema, bowling, etc.). The apartment itself however is situated in a quiet residential street, with a small local parade of shops just opposite.

Main shops, shops, ATM, restaurants, pubs all within a 10 minute walk - having recently moved in myself, I'm in the process of exploring the local area so can recommend some great local shops, eateries and bars!

Amenities:
Fresh bed linen including towels
Broadband Wifi
Oven and hob
Microwave
Shower and Bath
Hairdryer
Tea and coffee facilities

This apartment is my home, rather than a serviced apartment so it has a relaxed look and feel. Do let me know if you have any questions about the apartment, or about London in general - happy to help out in any way I can!

  • We had a wonderful time in London and at the Victorian garden flat. It is a nice place and you feel home at once. A little small for 8 people but 6 people can fit in the flat, I would say. Nikki is a nice host and she will do anything to help you during your trip.
Try it ... you won´t regret!

  • Nice and clean apartment. Nikki was very nice and helpful. We have a bit of problem with the main door lock but Nikki got it resolved very quickly for us. Will come back for my next visit to London.

Lee and his family managed to lock themselves in my home! Fortunately I called my next-door neighbour who was able to let them out straightaway from outside x

  • Nikkis home is such a wonderful place to stay while visiting London. We felt so welcome and enjoyed staying in this lovely decorated flat. Charming and cozy! Such a shame it was winter when we visited, because there is a small romantic garden behind the house where you can sit, listen to the birds and watch squirrels jump about in the trees... Nikki was super helpful and very quick to respond to our messages. We would come back and stay here again anytime!

  • I stayed here with my husband, sister and her teenage kids. The apartment was beautiful and well equipped with everything we needed and felt spacious enough for us all. In fact though you'd need a good bathroom rota you could easily have eight people stay. We loved having the garden to relax in after a day in the city too. Nikki was extremely helpful and quick with communication before the stay and similarly when I realised I'd left my laptop. A great host, great apartment and great stay.

  • We stayed at Nikki's place at the end of november. I had a great time with my husband and two children. Nikki was very helpfull and the communication was always quickly. The appartment was clean and cosy. We used the fireplace and it was lovely. A very nice apartment with nice decoration! A home away from home. It's a 10 minute walk to the metrostation Leyton and about 20 minutes/half an hour to the centre of London. We went to Hyde park, a ride in the London Eye, visited the national historical museum (free and very nice for kids and adults), had an afternoon tea, shopping at Bond street, Regentstreet, Harrods and Harvey Nichols! The squirls at James park were a great surprise!
We would like to return at Nikki's place when we go to London!

  • We had a really good time at the victorian garden flat.
A small cosy house but enough place for 7-8 people and nicely decorated so it makes you feel at home. - To be honoust it gave me some inspiration to decorate my own home.-
Quiet neighbourhood and just a ten minutes walk from the metro station.

Ideal for those who hate cold/standard hotels and like a place with caracter and homy feel.

If I come back to London I would certainly stay at the same place... But then I'd come in summertime as the garden is also nice!
