Hi we are Karina & Mathias!
Being a devoted airbnb employee and an experienced host, we hope to make your stay in Copenhagen more than worthwhile.
- Welcome to our space and please read the houserules beforehand.
We offer a small adorable room in the trendy part of Copenhagen named Nørrebro. The area is the essence of the Scandinavian urban lifestyle, where cafes, takeaways, music, parks and specialty stores sets the frame. The area of Nørrebro will give you the unspoiled Copenhagen experience.
The room is bright and furnished with a bed for two, a desk and has a view over the neighborhood square park.
The room comes with a shared bathroom.
The bathroom is classic "copenhagen style/small". This means that it is very small, but it has everything you need. Most bathrooms in Copenhagen are this way because of the old buildings and architecture.
The apartment is situated on the 4th floor in a walk up building.
We will provide towels, pillows, blankets.
Laundry can be done at several places around the neighborhood.
Everything is close by, we are a 7 minutes bus ride away from the City hall-square, a 10 min bike ride from "Nørreport" and the main shopping street + A short walk away from the lakes.
The famous Assistens Cemetery is just a 5 min. walk away. Here you can visit the grave of H.C. Andersen and Niels Bohr -And of course enjoy the beautiful surrounding park.
On your way there, you can walk through the spectacular Jægersborgsgade/street. In this street you can dine at Relæ restaurant, a budget choice. Relæ is mentioned in the New York times as a "must try" because of the amazing food created by a former chef at Noma (The worlds best resturant).
Free parking space just outside the building! Public transport is a breeze from here! Plenty of options for renting bikes!
We enjoy sharing travel experiences and culture! - We will do everything in our power to make this a great experience for both parts!
The apartment is very clean and completely renovated!
Please send us a message with a bit of info when booking!
The Karina and Matthias apartment complies with the announcement: clean and socket.
The flat is located in a nice surrounding and you can still walk to the city center. The room ist comfortable and we could use the livingroom as well, which was nice.
We didn’t see much of Karina and Mathias as we were most of the time out of the house enjoying the lovely city. However they welcomed us nicely.
A little bit irritating is the not cooking in the kitchen. you can still use it for preparing snacks and so on, but in a expensive city it would be nice sometimes to cook a meal. But the good thing is we could discovered a lot of very good danish food..
However we felt comfortable and recommend the place.
Hi Frederike. I am sorry that you were irritated that you could not cook, however I it says so in the house rules: Keep the activity in the kitchen down to a minimum. Only "cold" cooking is allowed. It is not allowed to cook dinners, however you can make breakfast, sandwiches etc. The house rules are always convenient to read before you book a listing. But, you were great guests and you are welcome back here again :)
We really enjoyed our weekend in Copenhagen.
The flat is located in a nice area surrounded by cute cafes and nice restaurants (we became addicted to the scones in Meyers bakery situated in Jægersborggade).
We loved the decoration of the house, the room was clean and spacious and always warm, what is really important at this time of the year : ) As it is already mentioned in the add, the toilet is small, so it might be not something for everybody, specially if you’re big. However we had no problem with it.
We walked all the time as plenty of places are reachable on foot (Assistentens Kierkegaard cemetery, for example, was very close to the flat and beautiful with its autumn leaves), but if you decide to use the public transport, bus number 66 close by will take you nearly everywhere.
We didn’t see much of Karina and Mathias as we were most of the time out of the house. However they welcomed us nicely and provided us with useful information for sightseeing. They give you space for privacy and make you feel really comfortable at their place. Thanks for everything, Karina and Mathias! We do recommend your place.
Karina and her boyfriend were very good and helpful hosts. I and Hanna really enjoyed the time in the cosy room. It was also very nice, that they could recommend a lot of places to us like the beautiful museum LOUSIANA. I would highly recommend them to others!
wonderful couple! even we arrived after midnight, she was still very friendly and helpful with everything. Appreciate very much! The apartment is clean and super quiet, we can even cook by ourselves. Definitely a happy stay experience!
Karina and Mathias must be two of the best hosts on Airbnb. We had all the info needed prior to arrival and were greeted with a warm welcome to Copenhagen. They were extremely hospitable, easy going and informative, with great local info on what to do and where to eat. They were always available when needed, but still respected our privacy.
The room itself is in a great quiet neighborhood with good public transport connections. Clean, tidy, well maintained.
We already miss Copenhagen and can't wait to stay with them again. Thanks K&M for a wonderful Copenhagen experience!
Karina and her partner were wonderful hosts. Hospitable, friendly, with great tipps for the city. The room is quiet and the neighbourhood is nice and close to the city. It was all in all a great stay and i hope we meet again in Berlin, soon. :)
Karina and her friend were just great. Karina gave us a lot of information what to see in Kopenhagen (best jazz club I`ve ever been) and also how everyday life is in Kopenhagen. We enjoyed the stay a lot.
So we definately only can recommend her place.
Welcoming host. They gave lots of informations
Karina's apartment is very nice and comfortable and she was very lovely and show us the places we should visit in Copenhagen. We enjoyed our stay.
