Welcome to the NE Arts District! You’re a short walk from the best food, beer, and coffee, along with all of the popular downtown destinations. Northeast is one of the most unique and safe neighborhoods in Minneapolis. I look forward to hosting you!

The space
This large, sunny apartment is the top floor of a lovely 1910 duplex: you have your own private entrance, full access to the entire second floor unit, and you can check yourself in at any time after 3pm with a keypad lock (you'll get the code when you book).

The unit is full of old-world charm and natural light, with beautiful original woodwork and hardwood floors, and also updated with a modern, full kitchen, comfortable furniture, and local art. There's also a super cool plant room that's bathed in sunlight -- a great spot to hang with a cup of coffee in the morning.

Two bedrooms sleep four comfortably, and the large dining room and kitchen beg for dinner parties. A spacious private porch looks out over he street, screened by majestic pine trees. In the bathroom, a big claw foot tub for soaking (or a quick shower). This house is dedicated for Airbnb guests only -- my goal is for you to have the best Airbnb experience you've ever had, and to fall in love with the quiet neighborhood. It's an amazing location, just perfect if you're visiting Minneapolis and want to be close to the action, and have a quiet place to rest.

You're smack in the heart of what's known as the Northeast Arts District: for our money, the absolute best and most interesting neighborhood in the city. Artists rule the roost in Northeast: all around there are beautiful old warehouses full of artist studios and maker spaces, most of which open to the public a few times a month. In recent years, NE has exploded with breweries, restaurants, and cocktail rooms: It's sort of absurd how great this location is. While close to just about everything you could want, the street and neighborhood is also quiet and safe.

All within a 10-min walk from the house, you'll find:
