Newly renovated and cozy 750 sq ft cottage nestled in a quiet, treed setting. Centrally located on the Bruce Peninsula, between Colpoys Bay and the cliffs of the Escarpment. Perfect for relaxing or enjoying the outdoors. Two Bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and ceiling fans. Open concept Living room and Kitchen with Fridge and Stove. Door from kitchen out to deck. Bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet. I know some of the furniture needs to be updated (my wife reminds me of that often) so we are trying to do that from time to time. Also, it is important to note that this is a cottage and it has a composting toilet. It is located in the bathroom. It Flushes but it is just a little different to use than your normal toilet. We are trying to provide an environmentally friendly place to stay. The cottage is very comfortable and in a nice quiet area. You will need to bring queen size sheets for the beds and pillow cases. There are blankets and pillows there for the two queen size beds. Our water is run through a UV light, however we do not recommend using is for drinking so we provide jugs of water for drinking. The tap water is fine for washing, etc. We don't mind pets staying at our cottage, however we ask that you don't allow them on the furniture. Also, if you allow them on the bed than please bring your own blankets. Also, they must be leashed and cleaned up after when outside so they don't leave gifts for the neighbors.
1 km from access point to the Bruce Trail, 5 km of winding, scenic road to public dock for canoe/kayak/beach. Short 9 km drive to Wiarton for all of your supplies. Approx 30 km to Sauble beach (20 min drive ) Centrally located on the Bruce Penninsula to enjoy all the attractions it has to offer. Excellent for hikers, bikers, kayak or nature lovers.

Quiet and relaxing. Located on a dead end road. The lake is approximately 150 meters from the cottage. It is located in an area that is great for long hikes, biking and jogging. Access to the lake is approximately 5 km from the cottage.
There is no public transit.
Other Things to Note
There are two neighbours that are relatively close. Both are cottagers that are very quiet and family oriented.
No smoking inside the cottage
Pets must be on a leash and please pick up after your pet.
The location of this property was great and it was fairly easy to locate. Upon arrival the property was very clean. All cooking utensils and appliances that are needed to make a good meal were there, including a propane barbecue. Scott is very friendly and if you have any questions or concerns he will quickly and readily be available from the touch of a phone. I would recommend this property for anyone who wishes to experience the Bruce Peninsula at just a few foot steps away from there property. Thank you for the great time Scott!
It is a quiet, clean and comfortable cabin. We'd definitely recommend it.
We had a great time at Scott's cottage. It's well located, really quiet and close to the like. Scott is really nice and reachable in a minute. I would recommend this cottage to anyone who would like to spend a week end in Bruce Peninsula. You won't regret it!
We didn't get to stay at the cottage. There was a problem with the heating, so Scott had to cancel the reservation. Thank goodness he did, as it was freezing. Scott made sure we got our refund right away. Looking forward to stay there when we are up there again.
Scott is very fast with replying. His place is amazing. We will go back for sure!
