I can't overstate how excellent my stay here was. The cabin was well stocked, cozy, and a stone's throw from Rocky Mountain National Park. Stunning views abound in the area, and this cabin has a particularly excellent view of Long's Peak. I absolutely recommend staying here.
The cabin, Rose Den, could not have been more comfortable! The big window looking out over the mountains was gorgeous. We watched a snow storm come in while lounging comfortably on the couch. Would definitely recommend and will definitely try to book again next time.
The cabin is in a beautiful spot, immaculately clean, and his directions were excellent. I would definitely love to stay again next time I am in Estes!
The Rose Den cabin is really quite nice, and I definitely enjoyed my stay. The cabin is quiet and well-stocked, and the shared hottub (which we didn't have to share) was clean and well-maintained. Because this cabin is at the top of a steep slick road we had some issues getting to and from in our 2-wheel drive car, but Jim was awesome about working with us. I would definitely stay here again (with a 4-wheel drive car next time).
Had a fantastic time at Jim's cabin. The views are great, the cabin in cozy and the location is perfect. I've been to Estes twice now, we love how close this is to RMNP. Just minutes away from the cabin. The ski passes that are available for Eldora are great. We are still learning to snowboard so a close enough not too expensive place was perfect.
The Rose Den is a wonderful cabin, with spectacular views of the mountains. The cabin itself is cozy and comfortable, and an easy place to truly feel on a timeless vacation. Looking forward to being back!
Rose Den was a lovely spot and every thing was well set up for us. We were cozy despite the VERY cold temps, and the hot tub was definitely worth it! RMNP was easily accessible for snowshoeing, as was downtown Estes for dinner & tourist-ing. A heads up, in winter there are few restaurants open for dinner past 6 or 7.
The cabin is a lovely place to spend a few days and enjoy the splendor of the Rocky Mountains. The place is clean, well-kept, and fully-stocked. Even in snow and ice we were able to drive to the cabin and find our way to the hot tub. The recommendations for restaurants in the area were superb! Highly recommend a stay at this place, the owners are true professionals and always available to answer our questions.
This cabin is very clean and has the perfect location in my opinion. It's about 5 minutes out of downtown Estes Park and maybe 15 minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park. While the cabin hasn't seen updates in a few years it seems, everything is spotless and works perfectly. The heat and fireplace are cozy and hot tub is an added bonus.
This was an amazing cabin. Very home-like feel. Perfect location between the park and downtown Estes. Enough dishes and cooking utensils to make dinner. Very clean. Amazing heater and awesome fireplace. Old appliances but everything worked well. Definitely would come back!
