The Crows Nest Casa de Playa is located in the heart of Fort Morgan! We offer 1 Glamping spots & firepit. Picnic Area & plenty of outdoor seating! Our guests have access to the pool, Crows Nest porch, free WiFi and regular station pick up channels & an outdoor shower. Glamping is a fun way to stay close to the beach & bay. We are pet friendly, but bring a leash, we aren’t fenced....Check out the Crows Nest for awesome views! All you need flops and swimsuits! This is NOT on beach, walkable to it

King Size bed BoHo with Ac and electric little fireplace.

It’s super hot inside yurt in daytime, We suggest beach allday and enjoy when the sunsets - AC cools the yurt, but it escapes easy! Keep in mind when booking June-August

All Public Beaches are open, Fort Morgan is Pet Friendly!

We provide OUTDOOR SHOWER and Outdoor SHARED port a jon- some guest amenities, and bath towels - we like to leave them out for our guests!
Outdoor toilet stall has had issues since hurricane sally, so we have a lease on port a jon for our Glamping guests.

Crows Nest porch, “the best porch ever” is the heart of our home, come enjoy the saltwater pool, ring toss, TV, and just an all around GOOD TIME!

We supply some beach towels and some clean towels/wash cloths for showering!

The unique Bell Yurt Tent has KING size bed, very bohemian/Mexican themed inside.
We have a picnic area, charcoal outdoor grill, table and chairs to have a few spot to enjoy the outdoor camp living!

Walking path to beach is approx 15 minutes, such a great nature walk! Photos are a must!

We live onsite, so no funny business! We are cool people and enjoy meeting new faces! Come on down to The Crows Nest, YOU WILL LOVE IT!

**Note you cannot camp on the state of Alabama beaches overnight, this is located on our property and you have beach access walking distance it approx is 1/2 mile- since Covid 19 we no longer offer inside bathroom or indoor showering- we have outdoor shower with hotwater and toilet***


Remember elements outside, can’t control Humidity/Moisture - please take that in consideration of staying in a yurt canvas tent!

Since Covid we are no longer allowing access inside our home.

We have added a Casita as of September 2024 - it’s connected to our pool deck - so other gusts will be present or possible present while on vacay here.

I want to stress, this Glamping spot is NOT on beach, Alabama doesn’t allow camping on beaches, this yurt is located 100 feet from our home and is on the sand in our yard (all sand) - we give our guests total privacy - if you want to visit we can, if not- enjoy your time - we love it here an wanted to share our piece of heaven that we work hard to have with you, till then…It’s 5’O-Clock somewhere!

Gulf Way Street, The Beach Club, and The sassy bass store and tiki cookout is all within walking distance!

How to get to beach from house - walking only - take GULFWAY (thru the gate that’s open) walk south facing south you pass new construction on right and beach club you can see to the right - just keep walking SOUTH on GULFWAY it’s takes about 10-15 minutes to walk.

You cannot drive to our beach - you will get stuck in sand.
