Interaction with Guests
I will be staying in the apartment.
Close to all major hubs, trendiest boutiques, chic cafes, exquisite restaurants and all major universities. There is a corner store under the next building so it is quite simple to do shopping as well. You do not have to travel for daily shopping. And also, in 3 min walking distance, there is a local supermarket which has weekly special deals which means exactly no need to take a bus for grocery or whatever.
The location of apartment is pretty convenient, in the middle of the plateau, 1 min from park Lafontaine, 10 min Montreal Street, 7-8 min walk-away to metro Papineau and right in front of the building there is bus 24 stop.
Other Things to Note
Your room has all the essentials and then some...nice IKEA twin bed, built-in closet with hangers, nice sheets and towel, flat iron, desk, chair, comfortable mattress with a plain bed frame, full-size long mirror, decorative lamp, trash basket, matching curtains. Off-parking street possibility.
Gulsah had everything ready from the beginning, keys and towels and all. Moreover, she was super nice and did everything she can to make sure we felt comfortable. All the yellow stars. All the thumbs up.
Great value for the cost! The wifi, use of kitchen, private bedroom, and accessible location make this a handy, cheap stay.
The place was in a nice neighbiurhood. We loved Gulsah's personality and she was very helpful in getting our delayed luggage and accepting to host us even if we made it by 2 in the morning. The apartment is very charming. It could however do with a bit of a cleaning or upgrading. The apartment was dusty and there some clumps of hair in the room. The bed was very comfortable but we had a feeling that it wasn't clean as the blanket had no cover sheet and the bedsheet didn't look like it was washed although it smelt fine.
Our host was not home very much but provided clear details for how to get into her apt. However, while our host kindly suggested we could park in a special parking area near her home, she not detail where this was. We also were not told we could not park on one side of the street and as a result got an expensive ticket while we were out on our first night. This was disappointing.
The flat was perfect, clean, warm, bright and calm. The room was big and full of space to hang clothes, the bed was BIG and comfortable. The location was good in a safe area, walking distance to the main place that I needed to go. I've been staying there for 5 days but only saw Gulsah 1 night, she is a friendly person with who you can share lots. Thanks for everything!
Gulsah was helpful even though we weren't able to meet her she did her best to make sure that we had everything we needed. The apartment is close to downtown, only a bus ride away or if you would like to take a walk and explore that is also possible.
