I have 3 beautiful bedrooms available in a 4 bedroom apartment in up-and-coming charming Williamsburg, Brooklyn. If you're interested, please contact me even if the calendar shows as booked. Other rooms might be open.
Just 4 blocks from the Bedford Avenue stop on the L line (a mere 5 minutes from Manhattan), the location can’t be beat. What’s more, this neighborhood has been featured as one of the new spots to visit while in New York City. There are plenty of boutiques, small businesses and art galleries as well as delicious restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Plus two parks, one with a variety of activities and a weekly green market, and the other with a beautiful view of the East River and the Manhattan skyline.
Speaking of which, the rooftop in the building is equipped with a deck, chairs and even grills… and another postcard view of the Manhattan skyline.
Glowing with sunlight and spacious, this private bedroom is the perfect place to stop for a few days. Whether you want to relax or go out to the city, you will have an inviting place to come back to at the end of the day.
The bedroom is furnished with a bed, a small table, a dresser and a built-in closet and has plenty of extra room for anything else you might want to bring.
The kitchen is well equipped with a full-size fridge and a new stove, and you’re welcome to make use of them anytime. A variety of teas are available.
The bathroom is spacious, has tons of storage and a full bath tub for those cold days in which you need to thaw out with a bath. The showerhead has 6 different settings for a spa-like experience. Towels are included in your rate.
The large living room is bathed in light from huge windows. There is a lending library that you’re invited to make use of.
Wireless internet is secure, and there is free laundry in the building. All of this is included in your rate as well.
From time to time, there will be workshops on spirituality, yoga, food, art, massage and other interesting subjects held in the living room. You're welcome to participate as part of your stay in this oasis in the middle of bustling NYC. Healing, Massage, and Life Coaching sessions are also available at an additional cost.
Lastly, yes, I live here as well and am available to answer questions and guide you during your visit.

Enjoyed our stay! Everything was great.
It was definitely too pricy considering we shared the apartment with at least 3 other people, sometimes 4, which we weren't aware of when we booked. Also, the bathroom is very dirty. I would say it was never cleaned, and that with 4 people using it daily. The same goes for the room my friend and I stayed in. Dust, hair, crumbs. Also, FYI: in the mornings, you woke up immediately due to the large windows without curtains and it was extremely cold in the mornings because apparently the heating was turned off after some point at night. I didn't spend too much time in the apartment and so didn't really get to know Melody, but still, she is very welcoming and nice. So thanks a lot Melody, we had a good time, but the cleanliness should be stepped up for the amount of money paid. Other than that: it's in a cool area in Wburg close to Bedford subway and lots of stores.
Extremely unclean apartment
Melody was very unfriendly and didn't make us feel like we were welcome in the common areas
Often had to use public bathrooms along Bedford Ave because the bathroom in the apartment was occupied for hours at a time
Unsure if the room had been cleaned since the last guest
Overall not worth the money she is charging.
Terrific spot, terrific stay. Like most others I spent a week here using it as a base to explore and experience New York. The place has a nice vibe to it with several interesting guests coming and going throughout my stay.
Melody was a friendly host, flexible with arrival/departure times while offering the odd local tip.
Williamsburg itself has several attractions with a surprisingly wide range of restaurants/bars/cafes open late into the night which I often sampled either to catch up on some work or to wind down after the chaos of NY.
Late Oct/Nov is also a great time to stay with the change of seasons (apparently mostly cool with the odd warm day thrown in) Halloween and the New York Marathon - although you might want to make sure your departing flight doesn't coincide with its running!
We totally recommend Melody’s place! Melody is a very friendly and helpful host. The apartment is very nice and has a very relaxing atmosphere. It’s located in a perfect spot in Williamsburg just 2 minutes away from the lively Bedford Avenue full of bars, restaurants and cafes. The views to Manhattan from the rooftop are amazing!! The subway is 5 minutes away from the flat and so is the East River Ferry which is a nice alternative transport to get to Manhattan.
Cute, nice and cozy room with polite flatmates. But the most important thing is location, very closed to bars, galleries and weekend's market.
We stayed in Melody´s qith my housband and my little baby. It was veeeeery nice. The neiborhood its just perfect, very close to the subway. The apart its clean, confortable, nice. And Melody was very kind and helpfull, and very generous with her cooking items. As a general visit, it was complete recomendable.
I stayed in the room in mid September for 4 nights. Melody was very nice and even let me have a roof farewell event, which has a great view of Manhattan at night. The room did not have AC which was ok for my stay but I imagine would be very hard in the hot summer. You should know that the curtains don't block the morning sun.
The most disappointing part was the bathroom which was not clean (especially the bathtub) Luckily Melody acted professionally about it and after the first night when I told her she immediately took care of it. If you decide to stay here I would warmly recommend to make sure with her that the bathroom is cleaned before you arrive. Altogether the experience was good but did not completely feel worthy of the money I paid. Of course the location is super and Williamsburg is a delight! ENJOY NYC!
We stayed with melody for a week in her cool, spacious Williamsburg flat. Melody was nice and she had left out a list with dining suggestions for the neighborhood, and those places we tried were amazing. The neighborhood is really hip, fun but quiet. The rooftop view is amazing and was a big bonus. The room itself is nice, bright and large with a great deal of good storage place. It was a little dusty, but nothing that bothered us. Bed was very comfy in my opinion. The bathroom which we shared with three other people looked like it needed a little sweep, but this wasn't a big deal for us. But if you are a super super tidy, spotless clean kind is person, I think this might not be the perfect place for you. Overall a good stay. Very convenient subway ride to manhattan just at 5 minute walk from the place.
Melodys place is perfectly centered in the middle of Williamsburg, which is so good to explore the city. We had a good time there and would recommend the place to everyone looking for an easy space in Williamsburg!
