Casa Verano was everything we expected and more! Everything was extremely clean and tidy- fresh white sheets and towels made it feel like a hotel. Carolyn and Aaron truly thought of everything- the wine, snacks and cold drinks were a lovely touch, and there were detailed instructions left if we had any questions. The beach mats and towels were extremely useful, and the hot tub was an amazing added bonus. Casa Verano is extremely private, and was perfect for our weekend escape. We would definitely return to Casa Verano and absolutely recommend it!
Casa Verano was a cozy, welcoming, private spot in Santa Barbara. Carolyn and Aaron are really organized and the check-in/check-out process was easy as could be. The bed was super comfortable, the place clean as a whistle. And it was a nice stroll to downtown SB. We had a great stay!
Easily one of my top 3 favorite rentals on AirBNB to date. Carolyn & Aaron have this down to a science... communication was clear and easy, the bed (and sheets) were most comfortable I've stayed in, the hot tub was luxurious, could not have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended for a getaway in SB.
Really love the room, and the hot tub of course. Carolyn and Aaron also provide us two beach mats and beach towels, it's really useful! So sad that we have no chance to use the bikes.
Casa Verano was wonderful! Carolyn and Aaron accommodated our early arrival time, which was great since we only had one day in SB. We loved using their bikes to explore the city. The apartment itself was cozy and clean (plus I loved the way it was decorated!). Overall I'd highly recommend it. Thanks, Carolyn and Aaron!
Place was very cute and clean. Location is right next to the 101 which was great for driving places.
We had a wonderful long weekend getaway at Casa Verano. The bed and linens were lovely and the place itself had a very mellow and relaxing vibe to it. We went on a whale watching tour and did some wine tasting near santa barbara and rode the house bikes around the neighborhoods. It was great to come back to the hot tub and have a very mellow and private home base. The place was clean and fresh and it had lots of little details like snacks and a complimentary bottle of nice wine for our special weekend. Carolyn & Aaron's communication was appreciated, they gave us some nice recommendations for dinner & coffee around town and everything worked just as we had hoped. We hope to visit again and stay Casa Verano again. Highly recommended for a cozy weekend getaway.
Hi there. Glad you stopped by and took some time to read our profile. We love living in Santa Barbara and feel so fortunate to call our little 30s bungalow our own. When we bought the house, it was in need of some serious updating and TLC. Over the years it's been quite a few different styles and shades, from a funky blue to canary yellow. Since owning it we have striven to give it a sense of oneness while trying to maintain its unique personality. Casa Verano is our attempt at capturing that quintessential mishmash of styles, vegetation, and design that is so Santa Barbara. At first it was a hobby. Now it is a passion living here.
Sunday morning Mimosas with breakfast at Mesa Cafe, playing in the surf at Hendry's Beach with our two awesome miniature pinschers, taking scenic drives through Hope Ranch to watch the sun set over an endless Pacific, and the smell of Santa Maria Tri-Tip on the grill with a Margarita in hand: that is home for us. That is Santa Barbara living! Come stay at Casa Verano and you will see what we mean.
