A refuge for artists and people who love to be immersed in nature away from the chaos of tourist routes. It's a place for the soul. We are about 10 km from Noto, 450 meters above sea level on the Iblee hills, surrounded by dry stone walls and Mediterranean scrub. From the veranda, you can enjoy a unique and stunning view of the extreme tip of Sicily with the Mediterranean on the right and the Ionian Sea on the left.
The space
To reach the cottage from the main road, you walk about 400 meters of panoramic dirt road, which is safe as it is carved into the rock. A small or medium-sized car is recommended, but above all it must not be too low, from 16 cm in height from the ground up. The cottage was built on ecological principles, in fact we are not connected to the national electricity grid and you do not see light poles all around the house. But the main comforts are guaranteed by the electricity provided by solar panels that power the lights, small appliances, Wi-Fi, to recharge cell phones and notebooks, while for the washing machine and hairdryer there is a generator. The cottage is equipped with a gas fridge, located outside under the veranda.
I have a very friendly and good dog and 3 kittens.

Guests can enjoy the property's spaces of about half a hectare of terraces with olive and carob trees all overlooking the beautiful panorama from which you can enjoy the view of South Eastern Sicily from Vendicari to Portopalo di Capopassero up to the beginning of the Western coast on the Mediterranean.

We are about 10 km from Noto, reachable in 12 minutes, along a quiet and scenic provincial road. 5 km away is the pretty village of Testa dell'Acqua, with a doctor on call, post office, bar, mini-market, butcher, bakery and pizzeria. The coast, with its beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear sea, can be reached in about 25 minutes by car. The Municipality of Noto requires the payment of an accommodation tax of €3.00 per person for the first 6 nights of stay. Children up to 14 years old and seniors over 75 are exempt.
