  • As usual my stay at Petit Musc was absolutely wonderful! Hans is the perfect host in every small little detail. He really has the ability to make you feel like you have your own lovely apartment in one of the nicest parts of Paris. The flat is clean and gorgeous and the location is perfect.
I can't see why anyone would want to stay elsewhere when in Paris!

  • My recent stay in the St Paul/Marais apartment was more than excellent. The location of this apartment is perfect and within walking distance to everything! There are several metro stations within steps from this location, as well as great brasseries, cafes and shops. The apartment is beautiful, pristine and elegantly appointed. I enjoyed the eclectic artwork and interesting objects displayed within the apartment very much, and found the space very safe, comfortable and relaxing. The apartment is located in a vibrant area of Paris and served as a great starting place each day for sightseeing and immersion into the French culture. Hans is a professional, gracious and thoughtful host, and every detail was executed perfectly. He was very available, attentive, and even checked in during my stay to make sure that all was going well. Hans provided a beautiful reception upon my arrival with exotic flowers, wine and lots of fresh fruit. Everything you could possibly want for a comfortable stay in Paris is found in this apartment. This is a beautiful place to stay and I would not hesitate to return.

  • We had a perfect five nights staying in Han's flat. He was an absolutely charming host, leaving a care package of wine, bread, jams and cheeses for us when we arrived. The flat is perfectly situated for exploring Paris. It's close to Bastille Metro station on the number one line which makes it easy to get anywhere. The Marais is a fantastic, vibrant neighbourhood, packed with restaurants, bars, bakeries, shops so everything you might need is within easy reach. The flat itself is comfortable and beautifully decorated. I can recommend the flat and Hans wholeheartedly. We will definitely be returning there for our next Paris trip.

  • We had the most wonderful stay in Hans' lovely flat. He was a most gracious host, greeting us on arrival with recommendations for cafés, brasseries, boulangeries and groceries within a few minutes walk. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of french wine, and coffees, bread and jams for the next morning. Free wifi and calls back to the US were especially convenient as was Hans arrangement for our taxi pickup through his personal service on departure.

The flat itself was delightful...spacious and stylish just like the pictures. It was full of light and Hans' eclectic art collection, yet also extremely comfortable with all the amenities of home. The location was ideal, situated on a quiet residential street immediately next to an art gallery, and a few doors down from a boulangerie and a cozy bistro, Le Temps des Cerises, which serves the most amazing crème brûlée. Rue Saint Antoine, filled with small cafés that we frequented regularly, was at one end of the street and Place des Vosges nearby. The Seine and Isle Saint Louis were within a 5 minutes walk in the opposite direction and the Bastille market and metro only a couple blocks to the east. Two other metro stations were a short walk away. Though we explored much of Paris during the week we were there, we easily could have stayed in this neighborhood the entire time and been perfectly happy.

We couldn't imagine a more perfect Parisian flat... a wonderful start to our summer travels. When we come back to Paris, we will definitely contact Hans and hope to see him in New Orleans one day!

  • Our whole experience with Hans and his wonderful apartment (our first Airbnb excursion) was excellent from start to finish. For our two week stay the apartment ticked all the boxes – light and airy, very spacious and tastefully decorated, on a quiet street, with a boulangerie a few doors down, and across from a café (Les Temps du Cerise) with a zinc topped bar, the Seine at one end of the street, and the Rue San Antoine (with fruit shops, traiteurs, bottle shops, boulangeries, supermarkets and other smart shops ) at the other, and all of this within a stone’s throw of the Place de la Bastille. There is a danger that one could very comfortably spend a long time here without ever really needing to go more than a few hundred metres from the front door, however having the Sully-Morland metro at the end of the street and three metro lines available at Bastille puts the whole of Paris right at your feet. And of course the Marais district where the apartment is located is marvellous and easily explored on foot. And Hans himself was a delight – prompt and informative responses, warm and genuine welcome (providing us with a most generous care package of fruit, brioche, cheese and wine, capped off with a miniature Eiffel Tower), he graciously accommodated our early morning mid-week arrival, and checked in with us during our stay to ensure that we were fully enjoying our stay in Paris. We absolutely recommend Hans and his Petit-Musc apartment and hope that we can come back again soon to share in its delights.

  • Our stay in Hans' apartment on Rue du Petit Musc was superb. We recommend it highly! To begin with, Hans is a charming and exceptional host. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. Hans welcomed us at the apartment and provided all that we needed and more, including fresh croissants and coffee for the next morning. The apartment is exactly as shown in Hans' profile: well equipped, clean, stylish and full of Parisian charm. The apartment is superbly located close to lively shops, bistros and cafes, important landmarks, and metro lines (although we walked almost everywhere). We couldn't have asked for a better home base to explore Paris, or a more thoughtful, responsive and interesting host than Hans. I will definitely stay again on my next visit.

  • After an amazing stay in Hans' apartment last year (with friends), I decided I would have to come back and share Hans' apartment with my mother and sister. We had such a wonderful time in Paris, most of it due to Hans' apartment. First and foremost, it is located in the best place to be in Paris. Second, and very important, it is the cleanset one could wish for. We felt as if it was our home.
Hans is a generous and warm host. The white roses he left on our table is just once example of that. He was always available to us and that gave us such a good feeling. Hans' apartment is highly recommended, I know we will come back to it next year.

  • Hans was a terrific host and the apartment was beautiful! The location was fantastic -- very convenient to public transit and right in the heart of the Marais. Some very nice touches included a bottle of wine, a bowl of fruit, and some basic provisions to get us started.

  • Staying at Petit Musc was absolutely wonderful. Hans is the perfect host, kind, warm, friendly and making the guest feel totally at home.
I was greeted with fresh roses and a delicious bottle of wine and Hans was extremely helpful in showing me how everything worked in the flat.
The property is very charming, a typical Parisian flat situated perfectly between the trendy Marais and the Bastille, with cosy cafées, restaurants and boulangeries just a few steps away.
Hans keeps his lovely flat very well, clean and tidy and with all amenities.
I really felt welcome and at home and I will definitely come back any time I am in Paris.
I totally recommend Hans as the perfect host and the Petit Musc as the perfect Parisian flat.
I am also very glad to have met Hans that is a warm, kind and friendly person.
