It's a great little (the photos make it seem larger) apartment that pretty much sits on top of the Bergen St. F/G Station. It's in a back house, so quieter (though you're in NYC of course, so some neighbor-noise is to be expected). There's a lot of great restaurants around, the Transit Museum, Barclays Center, etc in walking distance, and the subway into Manhattan couldn't be easier. It was our second stay, and a bargain.

Nicely set back from the street and generally quiet from street noise (though not always from neighbors!). Smaller than it looks but a good crash pad.

Sam was super helpful when I had a place fall through last min - very easy to get ahold of, and was very welcoming. His place is in a great location, 10 min train ride to LES + other areas close by (F Train), as well as grocery stores + bodegas. Will stay here again!!!

The apartment is in a great location to discover Brooklyn, its Pier parks, Ferries and city life. Its a few doors down from the subway and many shops, restaurants and cafes. We stayed with our two kids comfortably. Since it is tucked away, the apartment is quiet, which is unusual for Brooklyn.

Clean and efficient with a pleasant host. The space is compact with a minimal bit of light. But it became a charming refuge and cosy, after we got our bearings. Close to all things good in cobble hill. Warning....8 narrow steps to get into the garden apartment.

Sam's place was absolutely great. Two nice sized beds, a full sized fridge, and a shower with plenty of hot water, this was the perfect place to rest inbetween exploring the city. Even better, the place is basically 30 seconds from a subway stop. Can't imagine a much better situation for exploring Manhattan and/or Brooklyn. Also, the neighborhood is great with tons of great shopping and restaurants in easy walking distance. Rite Aid is a minute walk away and open 24 hours. Sam was a great host, too, always available if we needed anything or had any questions. Would definitely stay here again.
