When the taxi cab left me At Aymerick and Stephanie's place I could not believe the location: several Nice stores, a farmer's market with fresh products, Nice neighboors and blocks away from Arc du triumph. Then i went up: AMAZING apartment!!!!! What was that balcony? Incredible. Aymerick and Stephanie were Very caring! I recommend their apartment and would LOVE To stay there again!
Aymerick and Stephanie were lovely hosts, emailing prior to the trip asking if there was anything they could assist with. The apartment was charming and well maintained, with a good array of facilities provided. The balcony is large, and amazing for relaxing on.
The location of the apartment is perfect, close to Ternes and Charles de Gaulle etiole metro stops (which takes you straight to Disneyland), as well as the Arc de triomphe. The poncelet market along the street of the apartment had amazing fruits, wine, cheese, pastries and artisan food, making our stay a perfectly Parisian experience.
Lovely flat with great terrace over fabulous market. Superbly equipped. Clear instructions for getting into flat; host responded immediately to questions. Beware if you are tall - the upstairs bedroom and bathroom are in the eaves, which we frequently forgot and banged our heads!
I enjoyed my trip. The apartment is very comfortable and the market stalls downstairs are colorful and useful. I also enjoyed the neighborhood including residential areas farther away from the Arc. The walk to the concourse conference center at the Hyatt and Le Meridian was 7-9 minutes.
We stayed at Aymerick's place for 2 nights at the end of our honeymoon and it was fabulous: wonderful little neighborhood and a beautiful and well appointed apartment in central Paris. We loved the balcony for our breakfast coffees and evening wines looking out over the rooftops, and there's great shopping and restaurants to choose from nearby. Aymerick was really helpful showing us around on arrival and had great recommendations. Metro is close by and it's within walking distance to the les cars airport shuttle. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Aymerick!
