After a day of enjoying this crazy city you need a calming place to come home to that is still in the middle of everything. Enjoy our modern, minimalist loft-like home with exposed beams and brick located in the very happening north side of Williamsburg in Brooklyn.

Use (website hidden) maps to see our location on the corner of Union and N11th, zip 11211.

5 minute walk to the L stop at Bedford or Lorimer L stop, and only 10 minutes to Union Square.

Very comfy queen sized bed and tons of light streaming through. The couch is a futon for 2 additional guests to use. We decided to leave the bedroom open to the living room to maximize the light.

Large eat-in kitchen with window, and more light! Brand new stainless steel stove, kitchen floors were just also just redone.

The art is by me and my husband, BK artists!

Williamsburg has tons of the coolest bars and restaurants in the Brooklyn. Brooklyn Brewery, Roebling Tea Room, and Brooklyn Bowl are just down the street. Here's your chance to stay in super cool Williamsburg and still be minutes from Manhattan.

Like to shop? Tons of boutiques on Bedford just a couple blocks away, and don't miss the famous second hand store Beacon's closet, home of the most fashionable designer brands that have already been curated by the uber-hip stylists that run it.

It's three flights up and there is no elevator, but it's worth it!

The places comes with:
- fresh towels
- clean sheets (obviously!)
- hair dryer
- iron and ironing board
- INTERNET
- toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel

Hopefully that makes packing easier :)

We live downstairs so we will show you around when you arrive. We are here to help with any questions and suggestions that will make your trip great!

  • This was my first airbnb experience and I am hooked. Loft was just as pictured- spacious, clean, bright, fantastic location, and super convenient. Pia was very accommodating and a pleasure to interact with.

  • Had such a great stay at Pia's, apt was clean and just like the photos! Comfy bed and great light (but there's shades to block out the sun in the morning) especially a GREAT location. You are so close to bedford ave and all the great shops. Thanks again pia i hope to return!

  • Pia s apartment was lovely We had a great stay there,
A 5 min walk to the L Train and Bedford ave where there are lots of restaurants and bars, but in a quite area to get a good night (website hidden) a a fresh comfortable bed,
The apartment is a great size for 2 people 3 would be ok.Good bed nice white room with great pictures on the wall ,Kitchen was fine with a good gas cooker.Bathroom ok .Pia herself was very pleasant to deal with and she seems keen on making sure you enjoy your stay.
Overall my wife and i had a great time there and would definitely return.
n.b. I was a little worried that maybe the door wouldn't open as 1 or 2 people have had a problem with the (website hidden) was perfectly fine for us so i think the problem had been solved.

  • The apartment is gorgeous and the area is within walking distance of a lot of great place to eat (I like to stuff my face). Pia was also an excellent host. She answered any questions we had promptly and accommodated our early arrival which saved us from carrying luggage around NYC.

  • The apartment was really nice*. It was very clean (the cleaning lady had left shortly before we arrived), easy to get to on the subway, just a few minutes walk from all of the bars & restaurants of Williamsburg, while being able to get to Manhattan by ferry or subway in 15-20 minutes.

The place was quiet, had a small tidy kitchen and clean towels, and even shampoo if you forgot yours. Also Pia was responsive by text for any questions you might have. Also the bed is comfortable and the sheets left no questions about cleanliness.

*(for everybody not used to NYC, it's not a Hilton that you'd pay $600/night for in Manhattan. It's a Brooklyn apartment - simple, not fancy. But it's a nice, clean Brooklyn apartment.)

    We would stay again.

  • We stayed at Pia's appartment 8 neights and liked it a lot.
The big room is very bright, the bed is really comfortable, the sofa is perfect for breaks in between.
The loacation is just perfect, next subway station (Driggs Street) only 5 minutes walk away. There is a small supermarket around the corner and the best: tons of cafés for tasty breakfast, cool bars with excellent drinks and restaurants with delicious food around.
THE perfect stay for visiting New York.
We love Williamsburg! After a whole day in Manhattan we preferred to stay there, all hip loacations are in walking distance.
We had very good contact with Pia by mail, she made our stay just superb. Hope to come back!!

  • Place was great, exactly as pictures suggest. Everything was clean and as it should be. I would recommend this place to anyone!

    February 2014
  • Pia's place was a nice and in a good location. We had a great time in Brooklyn.

    February 2014
  • The good: 1. location - awesome if you want to be in the hub of williamsburg. 2. the bed - soft and nice and cuddly and inviting. 3, shower water - hot. 4. a table and chair to set a computer. 5. pretty curtains. 6. morning sun pouring in thru the windows. The not so good. 1. door lock jammed and would not open from inside. trapped on the fourth floor apartment for an hr, and that's how long it look for mia to return my calls and texts. in the meantime my daughter managed to walk from greenpoint, i threw the keys down to her on the street and she opened the door from outside. 2. cleanliness - despite charging the renter a sum, you find a dustball here, a shelf with a cm of dust there and mold inside the shower curtain. it just doesnt go with modern minimalist white on white image. modern minimalist ends at the bedroom, the rest of the place is unmodern minimalist. but it works. had a good time overall.

About
My husband Steve and I run a branding and design company called Worstofall Design. I'm a native New Yorker, went to Hunter Elem and High school and then Wesleyan University. I've been a dancer my whole life, and my husband is a painter, so our self-employed lifestyle is suiting us well! I love living in Brooklyn and Williamsburg is an amazing place to be these days. It's a great mix of super cool restaurants and bars and cheap produce and fish down on Grand Street, or great kilbasa and polish food up on Greenpoint Ave. I love living next to the park and there is a beautiful Farmers Market around the corner from us every Saturday. Definitely a fun place to live, or visit! We love hosting and meeting people from all over the world, and are happy to tell you our favorite spots that we recommend. Feel free to drop a line if you have any questions!
