  • We had wonderful 3 days at Eric’s house! Everything was clean and nice, and all you need is there. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for us 5 (suits perfectly also for 6 people!), and the garden with terrace was so nice to use. The holiday park is very convenient with supermarket and everything. Texel is a real great island – we’d love to come again for a longer time. Thank you for everything, Eric!

  • Cozy and immaculately clean house with lovely terrace and garden, including resident bunnies. The vacation park has a convenient supermarket (Texels beer is great) and bike rental. A highlight was bicycling through the dunes. Eric was extremely helpful and quick to respond to emails. I definitely recommend this house.

  • We had a wonderful long weekend in Texel. The house was perfect for 4 adults and two small kids. Everything was easy to reach within the holiday park and the beach is just a short bike ride away. Even though the house is located in a big holiday park, you can enjoy the privacy of your own garden, which is very nicely kept. The house had everything we needed, even toys for the kids. Thanks Eric for the nice time.

  • We had a wonderful Holiday in Eric's House on the Island of Texel.
The house itself was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and since the weather was nice we enjoyed the garden in the back very much. We were 6 People and the house was big enough to accomodate us comfortably.

The Boys (12 and 14 years old) made use of various facilities in the Holiday Park. Unfortunately 3 nights are too short to see enough of Texel!

  • Eric's home is a lovely bungalow in a semi-resort community with community resources (indoor-outdoor play space and pools, laundromat, shopping). It was quiet, tidy, nicely decorated, and three nice-sized bedrooms. Texel itself was beautiful. Only complaint was that the stove didn't light on its own and there was no lighter or matches, so had to make a separate run to buy some; and wifi only worked intermittently. All in all, an excellent experience!

    July 2013
  • The house comfortably fits 6 adults, it is well-equipped and generally clean, Eric was very helpful with his instructions.
However, three issues were disturbing. (i) We arrived on Friday night and all shops were closed, there was only one toilet roll in the house for all 6 of us. It would have been helpful to know beforehand that there was only one toilet roll so we could prepare ourselves accordingly. (ii) There is a cleaning fee that is quite pricey and although the house was generally clean, it was extremely dusty, to the point that we were all coughing. (iii) The heater in one of the bedrooms was not working.
