We are both retired from the Federal Government (Department of Veterans Affairs) and bought the Grice-Fearing House in 2004. After a several years' renovation, we opened as a two-suite bed and breakfast in 2007. We love hosting guests, cooking for them, serving them in our formal dining room, conversing with them over a glass of wine upon their arrival. And we really like to research new breakfast entree and cookie recipes for our guests! Our interests: visiting our sons in Asheville, relaxing at the nearby Outer Banks beaches, skiing, reading, and most of all, travelling!
