Siesta Mar 2 is one of the best apartment complex in Cala en Porter. The apartment (newly renovated Jan 2016) has its own balcony with scattered views of the ocean as well as the scenic bush land. One large bedroom, living/dinning room and bathroom.

The space

The island is rather small and public transport is acceptable. However, it is recommended to rent a car or scooter for getting around if you intend to discover any of the large number of very scenic and sometimes remote beaches.
There is a local bus service for a 15 minute ride to the capital Mahon. From here you can get a bus service to most parts of the island.

Guest access

Guests have full access to the swimming pools and water slides, garden areas including a small playground and the compound's own restaurant which offers reasonably priced meals and a breakfast buffet. There is a "laundromat" opposite the reception where you can have these washed and dried against a small fee.
In the restaurant area and the restaurant's terrace wireless internet is offered for free. In addition we have contracted WIFI in our apartment so you can be connected while you "disconnect" on your holiday.

Interaction with guests

For a more flexible check-in the apartment keys can be fetched and later deposited in a "number-key-safe" at the entrance to the apartment. We will provide a full set of towels and sheets for your stay.

Jeff left a bottle of wine, and the accomodation has all the essentials. Great location, near the gorgeous Cala en Porter beach. Many English speaking restaurants nearby. Easy access to the airport, and other destinations. Very happy with this property.

We enjoyed our stay in Jeff's appartment. Great location, short walk to the beautiful Bay of cala n Porter. Appartment is perfect for two people. Newly renovated bathroom! Everything went smoothly and even some beer and wine welcomed us in the fridge. Can totally recommend that appartment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Siesta Mar apartment. Because of our early flights we were worried we would have to wait around all day until the 3pm check-in, however Jeff was very accommodating, allowing us to leave our bags upon arrival. The apartment had everything we needed, along with the lovely touch of food and drink essentials being provided. Close to the beach, shops, food and a short walk away from some lovely coves ("Calas Coves" recommend exploring them). Overall a great stay!!! No complaints!!! =D

The apartment is close to the Cala en porter beach, near are pubs and restaurants, also several market to buy food. The Swimming pools are awesome for children and adults. I will recommend this apartment for all my friends, thanks for all Jeff.

The apartment is really close to the beach, location is fine. But the first photo of the kitchen doesn´t belong to the apartment because there is no window and the real one is a bit smaller as you can see in the second photo of the kitchen. There is no door, to the apartment, the door is the balcony one, which has two doors, and only one of them with key lock, because the other one, has it, but we didn´t have the key for this one . In the bathroom, there is no curtain in the window, and in the bathtub the curtain needs to be changed. Apartment is fine, but I think it needs to be renewed in some points.

We felt very happy when we arrived, as we are able to leave our bags in the apartment even when arriving 3 hours early. The area was even better than the pictures and the apartment was convenient for everything. Jeff was really helpful and reply immediately to any questions we had. We strong recommend this place to any couple.
