Stay in a private cabin, in a large garden where animals are kept for eggs and meat. There is a rainwater fed outhouse, and tree-house for kids and a gym for the muscle worshipers. Breakfast is included.
Interaction with Guests
We like to talk with guests and hear their stories.
We are right at the start of the Dublin mountains. The Hell Fire Club and Carty's Castle are nice walks. There is a GAA field across the road.
It's a 10 minute walk to the bus. The bus can take you to Dublin city centre in about 40 minutes.
I expect guests to show respect to my property and leave everything as they find it. I also don't want lots of noise after dark.
Colin and Teres are perfect hosts- welcoming, helpful and tactful, doing their best for you to feel at home. Place they live is beautiful, bordering countryside. Cabin is clean and cozy, garden big enough to run for kids. Everything you can imagine- as towels, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, jam, tasty fresh bread and butter for breakfast provided. Their children are polite and friendly, pets are fantastic, especially two funny dogs.
We enjoyed every moment of our two days stay and my sons can't wait to return next summer to see all of them again.
Colin and Teres are lovely people and have two funny kids. They showed us around to their cute animals such as baby rabbits and baby chicks. The cabin was clean and there was everything we needed: tea, coffee, towels and even a wood fired oven. This place was a perfect start for our Ireland trip as Colin showed us good places to go and where very helpful .
Accueil excellent.petit déjeuner (website hidden) vous passer dans le coin m.hésitez pas pour dormir dans la cabane au milieu de la pelouse.
Colin and Teres were excellent hosts and went out of their way to make me and my friends feel welcome in Ireland. The room we stayed in was clean, well furbished and had a plethora of amenities (towels, tea and coffee, etc.). I couldn't think of a better way of experiencing Ireland than spending a night or two with these lovely people!
The house is in a lovely family suburb of Dublin. We stayed with our two young kids and luckily Colin and Teres had two kids exactly the same age so they played happily for almost our whole stay (one day/night). Kids also loved the log cabin, the chickens/ducks/rabbits and the lovely wholesome breakfast in the family kitchen in the morning. Colin and Teres are very hospitable hosts and i would recommend them to anyone. Cabin is warm, more spacious than expected, with tv and record player (!) - beds also very comfy. Cockerels crow early but hosts had provided very effective earlplugs and our kids wake early anyway!
