Located in a shared terrace on the top of the building with a wonderful view on the (website hidden) and on the Pigneto pedestrian area, the apartment is composed by a large room with a king size bed and a comfortable sofa, an equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower.
The apartment has wi-fi internet connection and independent heating .
The apartment is located in the pedestrian area of Pigneto, a trendy area that during the morning is site of an amazing street market and during the night is full of bar and cafe - ideal if one night you don't want to go far after a long day passed in museums and attraction to visit.
Pigneto is very close to Porta Maggiore and 5 minutes walk from Santa Croce in Gerusalemme and San Giovanni in Laterano (where is the nearest underground stop) and well connected to all other areas with buses and trams also during the night.
You may ask me any information and help to plan your visit.

Francesca was a very great host! Very friendly, kind, fast responding and flexible in terms of check out and arrival times.
The location of the apartment is very cool and charming with a great view over Pigneto and it's green roof terraces. The area is perfect for having aperitivo and dinner with a lot of young people around. It was a very great stay!
We really liked the apartment. It is modern inside and the kitchen is very well equippped. The location is good, there is a bus line outside direct to Termini. The apartement is on top of an apartmenthouse, so you have the roof as a big terrace just outside the door were you can sit in the sun. You have to walk five stairs up, but that was not a problem for us.
The apartment was very lovely, comfortable and nice. My favorite place was the big terrace with the great view. The area is lively and has a variety of Bars and Restaurants with delicious food. The organization with Francesca was reliable, efficient and very helpful.
All together, this place is a definitive recommendation for a stay in rome.
Great apartment over the roofs of Rome and in a very nice and lively area. Francesca is a friendly, uncomplicated and experienced host. Everything we needed was there and whenever we had a question, we could contact her.
Francesca's apartment is very nice and clean, we immediately felt at home. There is everything one needs for cooking. The terrace is wonderful. It must be even more so in spring or summer!
Communication with Francesca was easy and quck, and she gave us a lot of tips on things to do in the neihbourhood.
There are good tram/bus connections to the centre and the train station.
I would definitely recommend staying at Francesca's apartment.
Francesca's apartment is nice and clean and the rooftop terrace is really great for a drink overlooking the roofs of Pigneto. The area is perfect if you're looking for a different way of visiting Roma. No tourists there, only locals of all generations enjoying their aperitivo at night, the nice restaurants or the market in the morning.
Fantastic apartment, has everything you need, loved the roof terrace! Close to bus stops, cafes, bars (and excellent pizza). Francesca was super helpful and lovely! Would recommend and definitely go back!
The apartment is exactly as described here, but I must say that the comments below created very hight expectations that ultimately made us feel a little disappointed... Particularly about the terrace (it is big but does not offer a good view), the market (people are very nice but the stands themselves are quite normal and not so beautiful) and the transportation to the center (not so close). None of these things were Francesca's fault and although we only met her at the check out, the stay was good in general. We did love the city and the romans we met over the week!
Francesca´s place is just perfect! Exactly like discribed and displayed on airbnb. We arrived with substantial delay at CIA Airport, and Francesca waited for us ´til midnight.
Climbing up 5 stories, we stepped out on the roof terrace and into this vibrant Roman night, really exciting. The handover-process took three minutes, Francesca gave us her WiFi password, the keys --- and you feel like home, somehow like an instant Roman.
It was the night of Helloween, so we took a walk around in the buzzing neighbourhood - with loads of young people, small restaurants and bars. The atmosphere of Pigneto is congenial.
Returning up to the rooftop apartment, it is surprisingly calm - the only sound you hear is the refrigerator´s faint humming.
In the morning you brush your teeth with rooftop view, while down in the street the daily market is set up.
We took the 81 Bus around the corner to get into the historic center of Rome, a short an interesting ride.
One more thing: we had a wonderful dinner at Ristorante Primo, just a few steps down the street from Francesca´s Place. Great food, great wine. A perfect roundup of a day-long walk thru Rome.
All in all we had a wonderful time in Rome with this homebase.
