Kurt's place is a beautifully appointed apartment. We found its easy walking distance to the main train station very convenient, as we were using a Eurail pass, and went there a lot to use the trains. Its location so close to the heart of downtown also means you can explore a lot of the sights on foot, like Christiania.
Kurt was a most welcoming, easy-going and helpful host. He met us on the platform at the train station and walked with us the few hundred metres to his place. He was always available to answer any of our queries, or give us hints on the best things to do.
We had a great time, and cannot recommend his place and his hospitality more highly (6 stars out of 5)!
Kurt was an excellent host and his apartment was perfect. The apartment location was an approximate 5 minute walk from the Central Rail Station. We were met at the station by Kurt and shown exactly where the apartment was located. We were also given a brief layout of the city in correlation to the apartment.
Upon entering the apartment, we were happy to see that it was exactly how it was described online. We were given access to the entire unit and were provided with towels, paper goods and necessary equipment. Additionally, Kurt went above and beyond the call and provided us a loaf of delicious fresh bread, cheese, dill spread, milk and juice. There was even a nice bottle of French Sparkling Wine. He also provided a lot of resources like maps and guidebooks so you could easily find your bearings. His bed was quite comfortable too!
The location has a great beer house, restaurant and tea shop just outside it's front door. There is also a shared courtyard that provides a quiet break from the rest of the world. The sights of Copenhagen are a quick 5-20 minute walk from the apartment (depending on where you are going).
All and all, you will find this place worth your money. Kurt did a great job!
