Let us be your home in Rome.
The area of Trastevere is ideal for a walk through narrow streets, squares and colours that still maintain an authentically Roman character and offers a pleasant contrast with the solemn splendour seen at the Vatican. In antiquity Trastevere – "beyond the Tiber" – was the first district established on the right bank of the Tiber and was inhabited by artisans, fishermen, merchants and communities of foreigners, connected with the activities of the nearby port.
The historic centre is at your feet. Crossing the Tevere you are at the Pantheon, with Piazza Navona and Campo de' Fiori; on to the Campidoglio, to the Foro Romano, to the Coliseum, to Fontana di Trevi and then Trinità dei Monti, to the most famous roads for shopping; coming down from the other side of the hill of the Gianicolo, you are at San Pietro.
All attainable destinations on foot, for those who love to walk and enjoy Rome in the best way, or with the bus that stops close to home.
... And the evening, leaving the B&B, you will have the unique feeling of entering in the history of the city getting to the alleys of Trastevere, the most Roman neighborhoods, famous for the many features Roman trattoria where you can enjoy culinary delights, a true delight the palate.

Unfortunately, I had a few negative experiences. Initially I booked viccolo de piede and Andrea contacted me saying there had been an error and he had intended to book me at Calisto 6 where he had availability. He assured me the properties were similar with a private bathroom so I agreed to transition to Calisto 6. Upon arrival, we waited over 1 hr for his colleague to meet us for key transfer after arriving in Rome. I had to make multiple international phone calls to coordinate this. The bathroom at Calisto 6 is not attached to the room, so you have to go across the hall and open the door with a key. The ceiling in the bathroom is just over 6 feet at its highest so I had to crouch over to use the bathroom. Furthermore, the ceiling is slanted so it goes well below 6 feet at it's lowest. The following morning we did not have hot water in our shower and waited an hour for someone to come address this. Andrea did apologize by leaving a bottle of Chianti and did allow for late checkout on our final day, however overall our experience was disappointing.
I never reply to any review, bad or good review, in five years but i feel compelled in this case to leave one as i do not like lies. Veeral is one of the worst guest i had in five years. A no easy going person. Very difficult to host someone like him. He adviced me that his extimate arrival time was at 7pm instead arrived one hour before and of course none was at home (it was sunday). He told me twice that there were no hot water, but simply he had no patience to wait 30 seconds for it. The second time he told me there were no hot water at 9pm while i was at dinner with my parents. I came back home but as a magic there were hot water. Nowhere i told him the bathroom was attached, neither in vicolo del piede nor in Calisto6 (they are both outside the room as a real bed and breakfast). The room is provided with private bathroom and it is simply in front of the room on the other side of the corridor at a just one step (1 meter) so that you do not have to go across any hall!!! I definetely do not recommand as guest otherwise please explain him to wait a bit for hot water!
Andrea was a great host. He was extremely helpful along the way and responded very fast!! The bnb was nice but not as big as it looks in the pictures. Also, the bathrooms had a weird moldy smell but it was tolerable. Breakfast is continental with cereal milk yogurt and toast. The location is convenient. We walked everywhere to the colosseum, Vatican City, roman forums and trevi fountain! Right outside the bnb is a plaza with bars and restaurants so that was convenient! There is a kitchen but the house rules restrict us from cooking. Nonetheless, We enjoyed our stay!
This is a great place but you need to commit to going to bed after about 2:30 or 3:00 am when the bar just below and outside the window closes.
Really lovely B&B... The incredibly clean and well-apportioned accommodations were charming and the location perfectly dropped in the midst of Trastevere. Sure, the Bar customers could cause a murmur outside your window, but going down for a drink is always an option. It IS a local favorite. All in, we were thoroughly pleased and would happily (happily!) return.
This place was perfect! Andrea was so incredibly nice, and accommodating. The B&B is immaculate and located in a relatively low key yet super convenient location. I will be back!:)
