The Sycamore is a treehouse-inspired luxury getaway overlooking the Palo Alto creek. It is the ideal place for your visit to the Texas Hill Country. Only three feet off the ground on one side makes the treehouse very accessible, but a steep creek bank gives you the impression of perching high in the branches. The treehouses at HoneyTree Farm are secluded and quiet, but conveniently located only 8 minutes from Main Street. Each one is well disinfected between guests, and has a HEPA air filter.

The space
*Cleaning Note*
Our cleaning personnel wear masks and gloves while they work. After our always-thorough cleaning we disinfect all knobs, handles, faucets handrails, etc. Each treehouse also has a HEPA air filter running continuously for your safety.

Perched on a bluff with a beautiful view of nature, and only 8 minutes from Main Street, the Sycamore cabin is tucked among sturdy live oaks, native pecans and wild willow trees. From the deck guests have a clear view of the sycamores lining the banks of the gurgling Palo Alto creek.

Huge windows let in lots of light and natural beauty - and the lofted bedroom has spectacular views.

The HoneyTree bathroom has a walk-in rain shower and full size soak tub, the kitchen is well-appointed with cooktop, apt size fridge and freezer, microwave and Keurig, cookware, etc.

Babies and small children are welcome! Please let us know if you require sheets for the couch or would like to use our twin padded Coleman cot. Bring your own Pack-n-Play :)

Please contact us with any special requests and will be happy to accommodate whenever possible.

Guest access
Walk along the paths around our 10-acre patch of beautiful Texas Hill Country, or relax on the huge deck overlooking the burbling creek, listen to the many songbirds, watch the deer, wild turkeys and armadillos.

Other things to note
Cell phone reception for most carriers is spotty out here, but we have satellite WiFi that is pretty reliable in good weather so you can use email or text via wifi from the cabin to let loved ones know you’re safe even though your phone may be out of range. Or you can drive less than a mile up the road for reliable cell service.

Sturdy outdoor shoes or boots should be worn when walking the loop trail, and we advise our guests to stay on the tended paths in order to avoid thorns and critters.

We have several other treehouse cabins in the area (the closest is about 60 yards away from the Sycamore), and separated by tree foliage. See my Host Profile if you would like to take a look at the other spaces!

HoneyTree Farm is a special place where we want every guest to feel welcomed and respected, and we ask all of our guests to maintain the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Thank you!

I am a husband and father in the Texas Hill Country who enjoys sharing its natural beauty with guests from around the world. My wife and I designed and built each of the five luxury treehouses at HoneyTree Farm (she has good taste and I am a carpenter). We love hosting guests up in the trees on our wooded and wild 10-acre slice of Texas.
