Great neighborhood and a great place. Really enjoyed the thoughtful kitchen and walking around Federal Hill.
We had a great time in Wendy's home, it was well appointed and gave us the space we needed to catch up with family. Having rented with AirBnB before, we knew that sometimes kitchens aren't well stocked, but this was not the case here - lots of great pots and pans to cook with. Of course, you can also go out, there are lots of great places nearby - however with two young children, eating at home worked well for us. The neighborhood is safe and parking wasn't an issue (with the exception of New Year's Eve, which makes sense). We were able to walk to the Inner Harbor and anything else you might need (supermarket, etc) is also within walking distance. Thank you for allowing us to use your lovely home. We also really enjoyed watching the fireworks from the amazing rooftop deck!
Wendy's beautiful home is a vacation destination itself!
It was historic but cosy all at once.
And the location was convenient, trendy and safe.
With good, free parking. Highest recommendation.
It was so great to have a "pre-Thanksgiving" dinner with the family due the extremely well equipped kitchen. The home was spacious, comfortable, clean and had a wonderful warm feeling, as though it was our own.
Wendy was an amazing host - every detail was taken care of. Great stay!
We had a great time staying at lovely Wendy's house. It was exactly as described and in a great location. The house is very comfortable and well set up. The roof terrace is fabulous!
Your home was very warm and inviting, located in the heart of Baltimore. It was a short walk to most attractions. The upper deck you have is great although we were so busy that we only had time for a peek.
We enjoyed the family history regarding the antique clock; you are a very warm engaging lady. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. I recommended your home to my brother and sister-in-law who visit Baltimore regularly.
Rae and family
Locust Point/Riverside/Federal Hill is my favorite area of Baltimore and I always wondered what it would feel like to live there. Now I know. Couldn't ask for a more comfortable and interesting experience. The only drawback is you may want to spend too much time hanging out around the house rather than doing your visiting.
Wendy was so welcoming and an amazing help in guiding us to the most fantastic trip in Baltimore--even with the Grand Prix shutting down much of the downtown. Her home was a wonderful place for the six of us to stay and the location was close to museums and the harbor. We loved having dinner on the deck, such a great view. All around a great experience, I highly recommend staying with Wendy! She and her home were wonderful.
Wendy treated us like family and had an immaculate home for us to stay in. We had a wonderful experience in her amazing, beautiful and historic home and hope to return soon.
If you are looking for 5 star luxury, you may be more comfortable in a hotel. If you are looking for a 5 star EXPERIENCE with all the comforts of home.....this is it!
Being from the south, I was totally unaccustomed to the Row house /inner-city experience, but came to love it in a very short time! The location of this one cannot be beat! And the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is amazing. The rooftop deck ALONE makes this house stand above all others (pun intended!)
Eat at Captain Larry's and walk to Kilo (?) for breakfast. The free Circulator bus will take you anywhere you can't walk to, including inner harbor and camden yards.
Could not have enjoyed our stay more and Wendy was very nice and accommodating.
We'll be back.
