About this listing
Very bright and relaxing (and safe!) neighborhood, home and deck. Easy access and parking. Close to main HWYs and trails. Most amenities you need.
The room has a double bed. Large closet. Bathroom with tub is shared with 1 more person.
My favorite thing about my place is the light, deck, kitchen, and location!
This is an unbeatable location. Minutes from downtown Los Gatos, trails, shopping centers and two main highways.
15min from the SJC airport.
I am offering a private bedroom in a 3BR/2BA recently remodeled single family house. Very quiet neighborhood. Plenty of street parking. The bathroom is shared with 1 other person. I use the master BR that has a small shower inside.
The house is all furnished. The bedroom has a double bed and a large closet basically empty.
The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities you need as an Airbnb guest :). My favorite area is the backyard!
Other people living at the house is myself and possibly 1 other Airbnb guest. I do not rent to couples as that is too many people. We enjoy a quiet and clean environment. It is expected to clean after yourself. I do have a biweekly maid service included! Includes vacumming/dusting your room and making your bed.
Guests have full access to all common areas. W/D located in the garage. All appliances etc.
You can cook, store your food in the fridge, etc. Feel like this is your home. I do have plenty of books/movies you can read/watch. I appreciate you ask first.
Feel free to come in/out of the house at your convenience and be reasonable with noise after 9pm especially on the phone. I recommend you take your long conversations in the late night to the living room or outside.
I enjoy getting to know a little about my guests through casual conversation. I'm happy to suggest places to eat/visit. I also respect guests' privacy as well. Anything you don't know, please ask.
The neighborhood is super quiet and safe!. Close to my favorite places. Easy access to Hwy17 (to go to Santa Cruz/San Jose) and also Hwy85 (to go to Palo Alto/San Francisco).
3 blocks from an open space preserve (Heintz). A very short hike will result in spectacular views since we just at the bottom of the hill.
VTA Bus 27 stop on the same block. This is the "Good Samaritan to Kaiser San Jose" route. This bus can take you to two major hospitals and the park and ride station to transfer to light rail.
Bike friendly roads take you to downtown Los Gatos or Campbell.
Walking distance to a very nice open space preserve or the Belgatos park. I can suggest also how to get to other trails nearby as my dog and I are trail runners.
Top grocery stores within 2 mi (Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Lunardi's, Safeway, Nob Hill). Two farmers markets nearby (Wed evenings and Sun mornings). Plenty of good restaurants also within 2mi.
CLEANING: As mentioned, I do provide a clean room and bathroom and expect guests to maintain things tidy. Guests are responsible of maintaining their rooms and bathroom clean. Cleaning supplies are provided by the host.
DOG: A dog lives here but he is not at home most of the time in weekdays. He is mellow, friendly and stays out of guest bedrooms. The dog is quiet, does not bark. Please don't feed the dog :)
Besides the listed ammenities, common areas, kitchen, deck, living room, garage (laundry). Plenty of street parking.
Interaction with Guests
I enjoy some conversation over dinner and prefer the social guest than the antisocial guest.
Large lots allow for very peaceful walking around this neighborhood. Sidewalks are spacious and bike lanes too. Minutes from downtown Los Gatos or Campbell and plenty of grocery stores and restaurants.
Because we are on the LG-San Jose border we are closer to Heintz open space preserve (3 blocks away) and to Almaden Quicksilver County Park (10min away by car). Both great hiking spots with views.
Also close by we have a large hospital (Good Samaritan) and VTA bus stops
VTA route 27 (Good Samaritan Hospital to Kaiser San Jose) connects to VTA light rail

Paola, the host, rents two rooms. The bathroom is shared between two guests. I stayed here for about a week. I enjoyed my stay. The house is well maintained and clean. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. The only things I missed were desk and chair in the room, but I could use the backyard table and the dinning table to use my laptop.
Paola is very cordial. She kindly invited me to the birthday celebrations, she had arranged. Also, she lent me a section in the kitchen cabinet and in the fridge for my use, and gave me a place to park my car in the driveway. The place also comes with a friendly dog, Nacho, who is quiet.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place stay in the south San Jose.
Paola is a wonderful host. She is friendly, inviting and her house is impeccably clean and well organized. The home has a small, cottage like feel. Paola's dog, Nacho is a kind, sweet very well mannered fellow eager to welcome you too. He is happy to play to fetch in the back yard or just sit at your side while you enjoy the pleasant surroundings.
Paola is a very friendly host. The room is very clean and comfortable. It was a nice experience staying at this place. Beautiful summer weather and Los Gatos market near by was good. I definitely recommend this place.
We had great conversations, and she was a very gracious host. She has a very sweet dog (as others have mentioned), an open kitchen, and a comfortable bed. The neighborhood is quiet and there was always street parking. She was very accommodating, and I would definitely stay here again!
Paola is a very friendly host and she is very patient for any of my inquiries. The room is very clean and comfortable. It was a wonderful experience staying at the place for 4 days, with the good weather and beautiful Los Gatos hill view. I definitely would like to recommend Paola and her cozy home.
The room was cozy and the bed was really comfortable! I like my short stay there!
This was my first experience with AirBnb and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Paola was a fantastic host - friendly and accommodating.
The bedroom was great. It was large and included a dresser, closet, and an additional set of drawers. The bathroom was very nice as well. The bedroom, bathroom, and entire house were very clean.
The neighborhood was beautiful, and pretty close to some nice downtown and shopping areas.
And Nacho is one of the friendliest dogs I've ever met!
