Ciao José! I would like to thank you for taking the time to leave us a feedback. I am happy to read that you enjoyed your trip with us. The market of Porta Portese is quite interesting and very typical. We would like to apologize for the problem with air conditioning that is fixed now. A presto! Laurence
The apartment is in a great location near a trolly stop that brings you right into the the center of Rome and close to major attractions. The person that met us there was friendly and helpful. The apartment was sunny, pleasant, clean and was what we expected. I suggest that you ask to be shown how to open and close it as it is a bit tricky.
Hi Kevin! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a feedback!
We are very happy to read that you enjoyed your stay in Rome with us! We will be more attentive to show how to open and close the door to our future guests, thanks for the advice! We hope to see you again in the sunny Rome! Warm regards, Daniela.
We really enjoyed staying in this apartment. Great location, near the heart of Trastevere, but a little outside the bustle, which was nice. Right near many bus and tram stops, and also not a far walk to the main sites in the center of the (website hidden) and wifi worked well. A little bit difficult to check in because of needing to call from the airport, but that had more to do with my phone not working than with the process itself. Had a bit of a problem with one of the beds and it was fixed right away. Great communication. Thanks for having us!
Convenient location with several major bus lines stopping within a few blocks. We walked to places in Trastevere neighborhood and used public transportation for the rest of Rome. We had two children with us so walking was limited, but if you like to walk you could get to Vatican and Roman Forum and the center in 30-40 min. The apartment is set back one block from the very busy Viale Trastevere in a quiet street.
The apartment is small but had a separate room for queen bed and two weeks singles plus a third room with couch. The kid's beds are very fragile, the boards continually popped out of our 11year old's bed, it wasn't built to sustain any but small kids. The kitchen is tiny. We could make do preparing breakfast and lunch but no way you could have a sit down meal. The refrigerator sort of worked, I asked owners about this and they just suggested changing the setting and waiting a day. By about the fourth day it finally got reasonably cold, but in the meantime our milk turned to yogurt.
Staff at the management company that was our contact were friendly and let us check in a bit early and also let us leave our bags for in their downtown office for a few hours while we explored a little more on our last day. That was a great help.
Bottom line is if I were travelling with kids and needed a decent kitchen, I would look for something larger. For a couple alone it is plenty of space except the kitchen.
HI James, thanks so much for your feedback! We have already replaced the single beds so that they now support more weight - sorry about that! The refrigerator seems to have been set on a higher temperature, sorry it took so long to cool down.
We're happy that you have enjoyed the area and would love to see you again in one of our apartments!
Très bon accueil avec description du quartier et des endroits à visiter alentour, location propre, en bon état et fonctionnelle, situation idéale dans le Trastevere qui est le plus mignon coin de Rome !
We had to wait approx for an hour in front of the apartment to get the keys. That was a disappointment. Stay in this apartment was good. Easy to reach public transportation and restaurants. I have called to tell them about broken or not working items before leaving out. By the time I returned to he apartment everything is fixed. Very responsive.
