Oceanside Bungalows, simple and minimum impact. Architecture harmoniously inserted in natural settings.

The space
Pueblo Barrancas is an eco-touristic project created for the appreciation of nature in a virginal state.

It maintains the functionality and natural state of the “carcavas” and avoids negative impacts on the dynamics of the coastal system.

Inserted harmoniously in the natural environment, establishing continuity between the different ecosystems and preserving fundamental values of the coastal landscapes, “carcavas”, vegetation and its own topography.

Designed to enjoy the sun and the moonlight nights and silence, "a la luz de las velas"

Bathroom with hot shower, kitchen, oven and microwave, crockery, safety box, refrigerator and hammocks.
Outdoor common areas, swimming pool with deck chairs and hammocks.

All of the construction sites were made with "lightweight" natural materials (Wood, thatch roofs, among others), using stilts.
The installations were carried out manually, avoiding the utilization of heavy machinery.
The transportation of materials from the entrance to the construction site was done by "blood traction".

Treatment of residual waters:
The process begins with physical separation of solids from the towns running water. After, the biological material progressively transforms itself into a solid mass due to the action of existing bacteria in these waters.
Once the residue is separated or removed, the treated water experiences an extra disinfection through either physical or chemical procedures. This final result can then be discharged onto the land.
