We stayed a week in the Toucan Hut. First we had a short walk from the airport, about 2 minutes. We got in our room and it was as described and shown in the pictures. There was a big closet for my wife and I to unpack and hang up our clothes. The bed was comfy and the AC kept the room cool. (keep in mind there are some rooms here that don't have AC, check the room description you are looking at booking). There are plenty of outlets to keep your devices charged up, and wifi is available in the room. We had access to a roof top deck, which we used several afternoons to watch the monkeys move through the area. There is also an outdoor(covered) area just outside the room with couches and a hammock that we also used a couple of times for relaxing and reading. The main area has a cash bar with cheap beer and other drinks too. We met up with Andrew a few times out here and chatted with him, and got tips on where to eat. Walking into town to the grocery stores and restaurants was about 10 min. The roads are unpaved so make sure you have sturdy comfortable shoes when you venture out. Andrew also has a few bikes for guests to use. We took a ride to a nearby beach one day(we also got extra beach towels from the desk). Overall this was an excellent choice on our part to stay here. Andrew runs a great resort, and has a great staff working for him.

The complex was in a great secluded location a short walk from the beach and restaurants in Puerto Jiminez. We were able to see many animals right outside of our room. The room was excellent and the staff was extremely helpful.

Logement propre et très bien situé notamment pour l'aéroport (100 mètres). Très bon échange avec l'hôte

It certainly helps a lot of our guests being only a few minute walk from the air field.

I've been living in the Tropics since 1991. Most of that time has been spent on the OSA peninsula of southern Costa Rica and Atenas in the hills of the central valley reputed to have the best climate on earth for human habitation according to NASA.

I know that most hosts that have multiple listings are agents but in my case I am the actual owner of the majority of the listings while a couple of friends own the rest. It's all about unique locations and we have a number of them with unparalleled flora and fauna. Some of our offerings are a small hotel in Puerto Jimenez, another one in the peninsula de Azuero of Panama, a large four bedroom tropical home, a cool laid back beach cabin and an escape to the OSA interior on horseback to the Osa Mountain Hut and finally a truly magnificent home in Atenas offering fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding mountains. FYI -all animal fotos were taken on our properties, so bring a camera and enjoy.

I know internet is a huge thing for a lot of travelers, so i have done a few speed tests at Casa Manglar & La Choza del Manglar and posted the results as fotos for you to see. They are the last fotos on each listing. We have a 4 MB connection in Puerto Jimenez but please take into account that when it is raining hard on the OSA internet service can be intermittent.
