A great place to return to after busy days of sightseeing. Our location is close to all major attractions, but has the quiet comforts of home.
Our lovely home, which can accommodate 5 very comfortably is now available for BCS Title Game guests. Our home is a 10-minute drive to the Rose Bowl and can be easily accessed via public transportation as well.
If you're looking for a comfortable home away from home, you'll love our gorgeous Tudor home in sleepy South Pasadena. This adorable home is located on a quiet street a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close to all Los Angeles has to offer.
Relaxation begins the moment you step into this romantic 1940s-era home. A gorgeous private backyard garden and a hidden upstairs balcony help to make your trip unique and special.
We have room to sleep at least 5 comfortably and can fit another 2 or 3 on quality air mattresses. Our master bedroom has a Sleep Number king size bed, as well as a twin size bed in our daughter's room that can accommodate a second twin mattress on the floor. The master bedroom has a full bath en suite and the child's bedroom shares with the master, which also has a tub.
On the ground floor, we have a bedroom with a full bath en suite and a private entrance to the back garden. This room has a comfortable queen-size bed.
We have a formal dining room and a cute little breakfast nook, plus So. Cal temperatures are often nice enough year-round to dine al fresco in one of our outdoor dining tables. Perhaps you'll even want to barbecue. Or you can just relax in the hammock.
Enjoy our large living room with comfortable seating, cable TV and wireless Internet in addition to an iPod dock.
This home is new (to us) and we're currently updating many things. Our kitchen is fully functional, but sadly out of date. No granite counters here! And a sad linoleum floor that will be going soon. However, our family cooks quite a bit and we have everything you need to prepare meals from simple to gourmet. And, if you're a fan of vintage stoves, our classic Chambers stove will not only warm your dinner, but your heart too!
We have off-street parking for 2 large or 3 small cars.
Our wonderfully cozy house is well located just a few miles east of downtown and is close to all the major freeways and public transit (yes, LA does have public transportation!). Our home is a short 1-block walk to Starbucks and our cute little neighborhood bar/grill.
If you're traveling with kids, our little city is Family Central: lots of parks, activities, and a very family-friendly Farmer's Market Thursdays from 4-8. We have great dining and shops and it's a very relaxed scene. If you're looking for a bigger city feel, Historic Old Town Pasadena is about a mile north of our home and has all the shopping and dining you could ever want, plus some of the bigger chain stores and movie theaters. And downtown LA is about 15 minutes southeast.
South Pasadena is also at the edge of the San Gabriel Valley, known for its large and diverse Chinese population. If you have the time, great cuisine and culture is mere blocks away!
SMOKING is not permitted.
Cleaning fee of $150.
This place is very special for me, anybody who is clean, neat and will treat my house respectfully is more than welcome to stay.
Check in/out times can be flexible with advance notice.
We're a busy professional couple, so our home is our oasis. Mari loves to work in the garden and be outside in general. Cord is more of a homebody, so you may see him hanging out in the hammock. We also love to soak up LA life—both the exciting activities a city has to offer and the amazing natural areas that we're right in the middle of. Our daughter keeps us busy and it seems like we're always running off to a volleyball game or soccer practice. Mari is a LA native and can tell you pretty much anything you want to know about where to go and the best way to get there.
