Situated only 1’500 Meters of the center of Seminyak is a blend of only 4 clean private studios (A-D) in a tropical garden.
Your refreshing studio and the huge, covered lounge overlooking a temple and rice
The house was finished in March 2014 and is located in a quiet neigbourhood, about 1.5km away from the beaches of Seminyak, Kuta and Legian (towards Denpasar).
The house in total has 5 private studios (of which I rent out 4), each with a comfortable queensize bed (160 x 200 cm resp. 63 × 79 inches); own bathroom, TV/Video, AC and kitchen/fridge/drinking water/water cooker.
This Studio is Studio B, which is the on the Ground floor between the Studio A and C (see other adds on here).
It is well equipped and perfect for homelike self-sufficient long stay. It is suitable for volunteers, students, trading researcher, surfer, authors or families. The three studios on the ground floor have access to their own little gardens.
At your wish we can add in a second bed (80 x 200 cm) as the studios are large enough. Or one or two can sleep on the big sofa on the lounge (in a nice night that is my favorite spot - even so it is in the shared area of the house).
Studio A: www.airbnb.com/rooms/2890790
Studio B (this one): www.airbnb.com/rooms/2890833
Studio C: www.airbnb.com/rooms/2529227
Studio D (upstairs): www.airbnb.com/rooms/2638160
The guest of the house will share the garden and the huge lounge upstair. The lounge is the center of our house - where we prepare food, cook together, play cards or read. The lounge has a big table, a huge sofa to chill out & relax - its own toilette.
A specious private garage is free to use your motorbike, surfboards and car, if any.
Interaction with Guests
At any time, there is either Ayu or me, Niko, at home. We are happy to interact with you. We both speak the local languages and English. Additionally I do know some German. We are happy to show you around and tell you everything about Bali you like to know (I work as well as tourist guide). Feel free to ask for help.
Of course we can pick you up at the airport or organze a transfer (especially if you should arrive late).
Niko-Studios are located at the "antique road", the famous strip with all the local craftmans, wood workers and furniture makers.
The gorgeous sunset-beaches, shops and night life of Seminyak is only 6 minutes by motorbike (which you can rent for 5 USD/day).
At BALI DELI, about 4 minutes by bike, you can get a full range of (western) food. Even Swiss Cheese you can get there if you would fancy a tropical Cheese Fondue one night. ;-)
There are many good restaurants in the area - but as well a full arrange of "Warungs" where we / the locals eat for cheap (or take away) every day. I am happy to show you both at your wish. Or we could ask a cook to come to our house to prepare a local dish for you and your friends on the lounge.
The property has a secured and covered parking for motorbikes and car.
The best way to get around is by motorbike (which you can rent for cheap).

Nikos place has a lot of potential, however my experience was ruined by a few certain factors. Firstly as a westerner on my first day I clogged the toilet which proved to be a hostile point between myself in Niko. Also the sink in the bathroom clogged up far to often and often smelled quiet foul and on several occasions I had maggots crawling in the bottom of it. After about 4 days I realised people (cleaner/niko) were coming into our room far to often, apparently to turn off the air conditioner, and after realising this I checked where I had hid my money. Funnily enough, money had been stolen, I had 800dollars rolled up hidden in the bottom of a bag full of clothes in my glasses case, it had been gone through, $100 taken, then put back wrongly, in an attempt to look like noone had ever been there. Naturally I was furious that people were going through my items(a huge bag full of me and my girlfriends clothing) and I approached Niko and he took zero responsibility, and then tried to tell me that I infact had misplaced it, then flipped the situation and tried to tell me I'd been using to much electricity from the air-conditioner.
Upon leaving nikos place to head to the gili Islands I had to much baggage, so I asked Niko if I could leave a padlocked bag at his for safe keeping. He said yes, then on my first day in gili he attempts to blackmail me and says he's going to throw my bag out unless I pay him for the blocked toilet and the electricity I used (that he originally said was covered by the cost of the room)..... Anyway the stay was a nightmare, the staff are shifty and untrustworthy, amenities constantly not working properly, shower was terrible. To top things off as you enter the property through the gate there are numerous dog's, one with a pile of puppy's that remained caged and tied up 24/7 which I found very sad, and also the place absolutely stunk of feicies and urine. Anyway for much less a price I've found far greater accommodation, and for those who choose to stay with Niko I wish you luck!
The week we were staying Staying in Nikos studio was great. The room/studio is big enough and clean. We felt almost at home, much more than a hotel room.
It was Christmas time, and we wanted to stay in seminyak. We could go to all the restaurants easily and the beach is around 10-15 min by scooter.
Nico is a very kind and helpful person, he picked us up at the airport for a fair price, considering we needed a van because of our two surf boards, and two big luggages.
He also organised a scooter for a good price, laundry he also took care. He really made our stay in Bali much easy and very nice.
Our stay at Niko's was just an amazing time!
Not only was the whole place really nice, spacious, very clean and super comfy to live in, but especially Niko made our trip unique.
He is just the nicest guy and helps you with anything you may need. Like airport pickup, motorbike rental, recommendations for places to eat and organizing trips, he even cooked for us.
We recommend Nikos studio to anybody, who likes to spend a beautiful time in a quiet, but still central neighborhood with a caring host.
Next time in Bali we'll definitely come back!
We stay in Niko Studio for 10 days with our baby, 8 month old. Niko is very kind, the location is good value for Bali and well located (not far from everythings). We fell there as at home and niko provide us everytings we need and advises. Thats a very nice place to stay in Bali, close to Seminyak, quiet and safe and really better than lot of hôtels.
Thanks for all Niko.
