Interaction with Guests
Depends on how busy we are, we work both from home, and are sometimes offsite at our studio. Sometimes we are here all day and can have brief conversations, but generally if we are at home working we ask that people be considerate of our time.
We live on a quiet and safe residential block, in Fishtown one of the artsiest neighborhoods in Philadelphia, and with great nightlife and food options.
We are walking distance from many neighborhood hotspots: go dancing at the Barbary, drink beer out of a giant stein at Frankford Hall, have a terrific microbrew at Kraftwork, catch shows at Johnny Brenda's, go to an art opening at one of the many neighborhood galleries, or have an Italian feast at Modo Mio.
We are also very close to other great neighborhoods like Northern Liberties and Old City, both just south of us. Center City is just a short 10 min. subway ride away.
We are 5 blocks from the Market Frankford line (MFL), which will take you most anywhere you want to go in Philadelphia. (11mins to center city, 15 min to 30 st train station) 3 blocks from the Trolley, and numerous bus lines.
We are also right near i95, Delaware ave and the Ben Franklin Bridge.
Other Things to Note

The cat is not allowed in the bedrooms so anyone with minor allergies will do fine.
*No smoking in the house.
*No shoes in the house.
*Once we discuss a check in time, we ask that you call us if you are running late or your plans have changed. We also ask that you call or text when you are about a half an hour from the house.

*Please be considerate of other guests in the amount of time you take getting ready/ showering in the bathrooms. (As in, if there are two other guests in the house, use your common sense and don't spend 2 hours showering and primping.)
My experience was great. The house was beautiful, and the neighborhood is cool, central and hip. The "orange room" is large and spacious with a nice chair and comfy bed. I thank both of them for letting me stay. The area is also very cool .
Sebastien was short and sweet! He asked me to check in after 6pm which worked perfectly for my arrival. I was in town for a colleague's retirement party out in the suberbs of Philly. It was nice to stay in a part of town that was up and coming and closer to downtown. The bed it not very comfortable as there is no frame but it worked! The bathroom is updated but it's not super clean as you may note there is a lot of traffic in this house! It was perfect for my budget though not to mention, Sebastien even agree to offer a host-to-host discount kickback as we do for our listings! Sebastien described the cost of living to me in the area which was important as I was considering a relocation with my employer. It was only Angie that stayed here as Charlie was home in Detroit hosting our Airbnb listing. Stay there when you are passing through...there is nothing to complain about...especially, if you are more of the backpacker or traveler type.
Sari and Sebastien were both very friendly and welcoming. The room was as pictured - great color! - and the bed was comfortable. Thanks for having me!
This was a very comfortable room and perfect as a base to explore philadelphia. Short walk to the metro station which can bring you into the city centre. Also has a lot of nice bars in the neighbourhood.
Sari and Sebastien were very friendly and were good hosts.
Sari and Sebastien are very nice and kind host. Their cozy room is new, clean and quiet. The bed is so comfortable that I could not wake up on next morning. The bathroom is also clean and nice. In a word, their room give you a feeling of warm home. If you went to Philadelphia, I strong suggest you to live in their room.
Sari and Sebastien were great hosts! Very friendly, and helpful. The location was great, and the place was very clean. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone. It was a great experience in Philadelphia.

About the Host, Sari And Sebastien
Sari and Sébastien are a couple of New York expats living in Philadelphia. We have a nice and cozy home that we love sharing with guests. Sebastien has lived all over the world and can speak to you in French, or possibly poor Spanish. Sari is just from New Jersey and can speak highly competent English to you. We are both artists and creatives. Between the two of us we design, illustrate, teach, and make art.
Honorable mention goes to our rotund but friendly kitty, Ku.
