Our lovely cabin is set up for short and long term stays. Stay connected with our unlimited WiFi. Relax on the porch, soak in the scenery from the outdoor hot tub while enjoying views of Pisgah National Forest & the Appalachian Mountains. Enjoy our fire pit patio outside or cozy up to the gas fireplace inside.

The space
Sherwood cabin in Hot Springs, NC is a romantic and private log cabin. Our vacation cabin is popular due to its convenience to town (1.5 miles mountain road) but still on the mountain top with fantastic views! Hidden amongst the trees of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the National Pisgah Forest of North Carolina.

Enjoy all the amenities of home that are needed to enjoy your stay. We provide everything for long term stays as well like cleaning supplies, extra linens and trash pickup. Stay connected to anything and everything with our unlimited WiFi access. Cook a fantastic meal in our kitchen or relax with the warmth of a gas fireplace (seasonal). Relax on the private porch in the rocking chairs, cook on our charcoal grill, soak in the scenery from the outdoor hot tub, sit by the fire and roast marshmallows at the fire pit patio and take in the views of Pisgah National Forest and the Appalachian Mountains. It’s your time, MOUNTAIN TIME!!!

WE do our best to offer a pet free safe environment and place to sleep for those with pet allergies, we understand, we are allergic to your furry friends too. NO PETS in or on the property, NO SMOKING in the cabin and our beautiful space is on a gravel road.

Neighborhood highlights

We are located in The Township of Hot Springs, NC on the mountain top. It is a 15 minute walk into town and a 3 minute drive or 1.5 miles from the cabin to the heart of downtown.

Enjoy hiking all around the area as well as the Appalachian Trail ( AT ) and our famous Lovers Leap. We have fantastic fishing, rafting trips with class 4-5 rapids as well as lazy river floats. If you need to rest and relax book an appointment to soak at the spa in one of their mineral water tubs. We have great restaurants all with their local flair.
