We never actually met Silvia, but her husband was very friendly. He showed us everything in the apartment and even took us around the neighborhood to point out some of his favorite places. He was very responsive whenever we had an issue. The apartment is small but works for two people. Only issue was the hot water only lasted for a few minutes - luckily my friend showered at night and I showered in the morning so it worked out fine. This is the perfect neighborhood - not too touristy and in the center of all the important sites!
Fantastic stay in Trastevere ! The house was great, the neighbourhood was great and our hosts were amazing. Thank you Gigi and Silvia, we loved it ! Being welcomed with pizza and good wine was one of the best things in Roma. If we come back in your city one day, we'll book this house. The perfect place to stay with a few friends.
Great location! Silvia and crew were friendly and responsive. They were there to greet us when we arrived with a pizza and bottle of wine! They also booked a ride for us to the airport. Would stay here again.
What a wonderful place to stay! Trasteverina House is perfectly located in Rome. The tram is just around the corner and can take you to Piazza Venizia and anything in between. Our host greeted us upon arrival, made sure we were comfortable and took us on a brief walk around the block to familiarize us with some local stores and restaurants. The accommodations are clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. The beds were also comfortable.
Best AirBNB stay among our 7 reservations across Italy! Great, warm welcome from Gigi, explained anything we needed to know and made himself very available to us. Accomodations were fantastic - cable, wifi, beds, bathroom, etc. Amazing location in Trastevere, a great town to stay in when visiting - quaint, good food. Will definitely look for this place again if I'm back in Rome!
Warm welcome in the heart of the action! Giggi and Silvia were a fabulous greeting team, and we settled right in to the neighbourhood. Giggi suggested some fabulous local places to eat, where we felt right at home. Our kids especially felt very welcome everywhere we went.
There is excellent food in the area, and it's a 3 min walk to the river where there's lots of evening action. The apartment is very close to public transportation. The apartment is very clean, well equipped with everything we needed and I'd stay there again. It was tight (we're a family of 5) but the beds and couch are comfortable. It would be ideal for a group of 2-4.
Only two small negatives: Rome is hot in July and the airconditioning unit couldn't keep up. Which meant we had to sleep with the windows open, and that leads to the second issue which is noise. The apartment is at ground level and so there's a fair bit of noise from cars, motorcycles and pedestrians both late into the night and early in the morning.
Overall it was a great place, great price in a great location. I strongly recommend it!
