Welcome to Skye House, an elegant, family-friendly beachfront villa on Sri Lanka’s spectacular south coast. Set directly on a sweeping expanse of soft golden sand this private sanctuary combines colonial charm with modern comforts making it an ideal setting for memorable holidays, multigenerational escapes or celebratory getaways.
The villa enjoys uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean, where seasonally gentle waves & a long stretch of swimmable beach beckon just beyond the private gate.

The space
Whether you’re seeking barefoot luxury, space to unwind or activities to entertain children & adults alike, Skye House delivers it all in style.
Inside, the villa features four spacious master suites & one colourful six-bed bunk room designed for children. Two master suites are located on the ground floor, one of which includes an additional single bed—perfect for families with a young child. Upstairs are two further master suites, both enjoying ocean views & the sound of the waves as your nightly lullaby. The large bunk room, also on the upper floor, is bright & cheerful, comfortably sleeping six children + a single bed for a 7th child.
Also on the first floor is a pool table—ideal for relaxed evenings or rainy days—while the dedicated TV room on the ground floor offers a cool retreat for movie nights or quiet downtime. For more active fun, a foosball table adds to the villa’s playful atmosphere.
Outdoors, the generous swimming pool has a large shallow area for lounging or safe children's play plus a deeper section. The poolside area is dotted with sun loungers, shaded seating & direct views across the lawn to the beach & ocean.
Children will delight in the wooden pirate climbing frame, two traditional swings, and the wide grassy lawn perfect for games and cricket. At the villa’s entrance, a serene koi pond filled with colourful fish sets the tone for peaceful coastal living.
Skye House is fully staffed with a team committed to creating a seamless stay. The villa’s chef is highly experienced & happy to tailor meals to your preferences—whether you’re craving Sri Lankan delicacies, family favourites, or BBQs by the beach.
