Very welcoming (hot water bottle waiting in bed) hosts, friendly family allowing full use of kitchen and facilities. Really enjoyed/enjoying my stay. Cheers!
What to say, Sally definitely deserves the description "superhost"! She answered my request promply even though I was really late and welcomed me warmly. In the evening she and her husband invited me even to watch TV with them and we had a great chat meanwhile. Retiring to bed I found a hot water bottle under the sheets, which I find an absolutely marvelous and kind thought of Sally, just loved it. And in the morning I woke up to lovely piano music, played downstairs by Sally's courteous son! Can't wish for more...
The weather had turned rather chilly last Saturday so it was a lovely surprise to find a hot water bottle in my bed. Sally could not have done more to make me comfortable. I would definitely recommend her property to anyone needing a base in Dundrum.
Sally's home is very lovely. Her family was very nice and I had a wonderful time staying there. The room had everything I needed and Sally was kind enough to leave me a pitcher of water and small thing of milk every morning if I wanted to make tea in the kettle. Sally would make me coffee in the morning at breakfast and when I wanted to go into town, it was only about a 10 minute walk to the tram and them a 10-20 minute ride from there, taking me right into the center of Dublin. If I felt like staying closer to home, there was a beautiful park right next door and the Dundrum Town Center right down the road. She even helped me look for a company to do a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher. Overall, I had a great time staying with her. I would highly reccommend it!
I would highly recommend for anyone who is visiting Dublin to stay at Sally and her family. Sally was very welcoming and very mindful host. The house is lovely and it felt almost home.
Had a very nice stay at Sally's, everything was as expected will sure to be returning
Home from home! Sally & family & Ciara [gorgeous English Setter] were so warm & inviting. Sally could not do enough for my mom who stayed with her for 8 days & 8 nights. Sally is a one in a million lady ~ friendly & thoughtful with open arms. Her home is exactly 'what it says on the tin' ~ airy, bright, spacious & extremely comfortable. It is set conveniently in the middle of leafy Dundrum. I can't thank Sally enough for looking after my mom so well & couldn't recommend her & her home highly enough. 5 Stars all around!
