Other Things to Note
We have lived in Bennettsbridge for 7 years, and love the village and the locals. It's friendly, convenient and you get a great opportunity to meet the local characters when you visit Lalors Pub.
We are a coeliac friendly household.
We expect our guests to treat our home with respect. This is a non-smoking house, and pets are discouraged.
We had a great stay with Roisin and Malcolm. The house was very clean, tidy and spacious. We had a lovely chat with Roisin and Malcolm by the fire and loved our huge room. We were very warm in our room and appreciated a private ensuite. Breakfast was great, too. I would definitely recommend staying here.
We had a very comfortable stay with Roisin and Malcolm. They were incredibly welcoming and were able to fill us in on the local area and what to do and see. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful time staying in Roisin's home. It was our first visit to Kilkenny and we felt so welcomed with tea and biscuits upon arrival. We had a great nights sleep followed by a nice breakfast and fantastic conversation in the morning. I will be sure to stay here again when I'm back!
Roisin and her husband have been lovely. We had a big room and our own bathroom. On our trip through Ireland the breakfast at Roisin's house was the best! Thanks alot!
We'd definitely recommend this accomodation.
What a lovely stay. Both Rosine and her husband were wonderful. We felt at home just as soon as we arrived. The room was wonderful. It was immaculate, huge, and everything we needed was on hand. We were kindly served a nice breakfast each morning and given a wealth of information about the area and did to see. It couldn't have been any nicer! We work highly recommend their wonderful and b and b home.
A nice house with a huge room, really comfortable!Roisin has plenty of info leaflet for the area. The bathroom cleaned with shampoo and everything!
Thank you Roisin!
Roisin and Malcolm are two fantastic people, the house is beautiful, the room is huge and spotless, the bathroom is comfortable and extremely clean. The district is well served and in a beautiful area, rich in green vegetation and very close to Kilkenny. Malcolm gave us lots of useful information and he chatted with us after having prepared a wonderful breakfast, was very kind and amenable as well as Roisin. I highly recommend everyone to stay with them because you feel at home and their availability is fantastic. We had a great time.

Early 50s,but feel younger! Married to Malcolm for fifteen years, and living in Kilkenny, Ireland. He cycles, I run (a little!) and we both like travelling. We find hotels are very impersonal, and like to meet local people when we're visiting an area, so we thought we could translate that into helping visitors to Kilkenny to enjoy that aspect.
We've been hosting since May 2014, and have met such lovely people from all over the world. It's been fun!
Our home in the lovely village of Bennettsbridge is quiet, clean and modern. We love living here, as it means we are close to the fabulous medieval city of Kilkenny but still enjoy country living. Beautiful river walks, local crafts (pottery, candlemaking and more) and a really nice pub!
We look forward to meeting you!
