It's stunning and unique. It's a hobbit house built into the hill, crafted by hand from materials all on the land. Though it's small, it feels spacious. The front pillars look like Stonehenge, hence the name HobbitHenge. It's nestled into a meadow in wild nature with an astonishing view, yet it's only 25 minutes from Asheville.

I’m not one to write reviews, but I wish there were six stars. As LOTR fans, I booked it for my girlfriends birthday. The hobbit home craftsmanship, scenery, kitchen space, and outdoor toilet exceeded all of our expectations.

This is a lovely hobbit home on a beautiful mountain. If you want running water, go somewhere else. We don’t normally rough it, but this provided a bridge between camping and a hotel that worked for us. I would probably go back but for only one night at a time.
