Some frequently asked questions, and the answers:
Q – Are sheets and such provided?
A – Yes, bedding is provided. If you need more (say an extra blanket or comforter) just ask. We suggest you bring your own towels, though we have some available.

Q – Is it safe?
A – Yes. Your room has a deadbolt lock. The property is gated. The neighborhood is safe and well patrolled by the police. There are probably more people actually walking around this neighborhood than anywhere else in LA. One of the few places other than downtown where you will actually encounter a crowded sidewalk.

Q – Is it central?
A – Yes, kind of. Remember what Gertrude Stein said about Los Angeles “There’s no there there.” Well, it is still fairly true. LA is very spread out and not a centralized city: if you are close to one area, you are by definition far from another. The location is between Hollywood and Downtown and it is easy to get to either because of the nearby subway.

Check In
  • The accommodation is like a hostel. We had a realy huge room for 3 persons. There is a loundry and everyone could use the kitchen. We had a nice time.

  • It was our second time at this house. As you can imagine, our first time was great. The room was big enough for us (5 people) and the two bathrooms were cleaner than before.
If you plan to visit LA and need a place to sleep near Hollywood, I think Ryan's is a very good option.

  • Friendly, good communication and a decent room in a cool neighbourhood. Nothing to complain about, 5 stars!

    April 2014
  • The apartment was ok relatively clean and I a good position (near the metro and well connected, which is apparently an exception in LA).

    April 2014
  • This is a great location in koreatown. Ryan was extremely helpful, great communication and the stay was extremely pleasant. Would definitely love to come back again!

  • Great place to stay! Great location, clean, and completely as advertised, if not better. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to go to LA for the weekend or the holidays :)

    March 2014
  • The room for four people is very spacious, as shown on the picture. You also have access to a big kitchen and two bathrooms that you can use at your convenience as the owner lives in the flat nextdoor. The commons are not exactly gleaming but it remains very correct and pretty clean, especially for the low price! This is a good place for a short stay in LA, especially if you have a tight budget! Plus we met very nice girls who were occupying the double room during the same time as we were there and ended up visiting LA with them :). A very nice stay!

    March 2014
  • Very good location, with parking.
Good place for that price. If I go back to LA, I will probably go again.

    March 2014
  • As it says in the description LA is super spaces out, so although it may not seem like it the accommodation is quite central. Rooms are not anything amazing, just comfortable.
Other people staying in house were lovely and everyone seemed to clean up after themselves. Kelly, the onsite manager, was great!
    Thanks for our stay!
