About the Host, Jeanette & Hans
We love travelling and in fact we met in Australia.
But since we bought this farm, travelling has been cut to a minimum, so now we ask the world to come to us. And we have succeeded in that; it’s very rarely that we are alone!
My husband & youngest son run a building/bricklaying company.
I have an Icelandic horse farm with trailriding and do alternative treatments for both humans & animals.
We have almost 60 hectares, of which around 25 is forest.
We have riding camps, riding holidays etc.
And a couple of houses in the forest, that we rent out.
We have 3 grownups kids and have become grandparents.
Bought this farm in 1999 and are constantly working on improving the buildings and surroundings.
Planes are that more rooms for rent will show up along the way.
Uhrehøje & Myrhøj plantations are worth seeing; the vegetation is very varied, with tall trees, bushes, heather etc.
The landscape is anything but flat.
See how the Old Stone Age people lived and what tools they used & for what.
It’s quite amazing how they made tool of stone & horn etc.
Cosy old town with a ferry, marina, beach, shops etc.
