About this listing
This is a small private space on my house with only one shared wall. It has it's own deck and entrance. I built the space for a corporate rental. It has everything you would need including a view of downtown in a hip little neighborhood.
This is a small studio with high ceilings and everything you would need close at hand. There is only one shared wall with my house. So it is more like a nice cottage. There is no one above or below. The bed is a comfortable queen size.
You have access to everything in the room and your private patio. You also have full access to the front yard and my front porch if you are feeling social. Summer time guest are also welcome to the full bounty of my 2000 SqFt organic garden.
Interaction with Guests
I may or may not be here during your stay. If I am I enjoy having a drink and watching the sunset from my porch most days and often have a few friends join me. I am a good guide for the area and can point you in the right direction ether in person or by phone if I am not around. I have lived in my house for 23 years so I know the area pretty good.
I live close to the city, the university, parks, shopping, good restaurants and bars. My street though is a quite side street with quail and dove often hanging out in the middle street. It is the best combination of living on a country road with the big city in walking distance. I have a vacant lot across the street from my house that I plant a huge organic garden for me and most people I know.
This is a great location to explore the city or mountains from.
There is plenty of street parking. The bus stop is a block from my house and Trax stop is two blocks. From the Airport you can take Trax tot he 9th East stop and walk to the house or it is a 20$ Cab ride. Driving take 80 East from the Airport and take the downtown 600 South exit. Drive about a mile and a half and turn right on Grand St (940 East).
No smoking in the studio.
Enjoy your stay.
I love being an AirBnB host. I understand the world of travel and I work hard to make sure you stay is better than your expectations. I believe my five star reviews and my super host status reflect that.
I moved to Salt Lake in '92 to Snowboard the "Greatest Snow on Earth". I fell in love with the city and state and have not left.
