La Maison is a former village grocery store that periodically hosts artistic projects and artists from all over the world. A house full of beautiful stories.
The apartment is on the 1st floor with an independent entrance. A garden and many paths (GR du Pays de l'Orvanne) and small roads are ideal for walks and bike rides.
Shops and services are nearby and the supermarket is 7 km away.
The house is managed by CourCommune, a non profit organisation.

The space
This atypical place is the work of many volunteers. The furniture was offered to us or was found in the area. The little hands cut and sewed the linen, the brilliant handymen renovated the apartment, a participative building site worked on the masonry and the shared garden came out of its wasteland last year. We are committed to making this place a place of rest but also a place of encounters and humanity.

A former architect, I started an artist association in 2012 : CourCommune. We're sharing the creative tools, and Airbnb is helping us pay for expenses. We live here and now, in the landscapes and history of the place. Our motto is Robert Filliou's: "Art is what makes life more interesting than art."
And I'm a plastic artist myself.
