Ken and Kenny are the BEST hosts I have ever experienced on my AIRBNB history. My family came from abroad and stayed in their lovely house, and since scratch zero, even before they came in, they provided ALL for them. My family fell in love with the house, the neighborhood and Kenny and Ken and dogs! My sister came in with a baby and Kenny provided a play pen with blankets and baby stuff, so nice of him. House is as described in the listing, and more! Super comfortable, with everything you may need. They were also checking on them all the time, to see if they needed anything. I super recommend Ken and Kenny's house. Located in a perfect spot to see all the good attractions of LA... this house was just perfect! Thank you Guys, we will def come back!!!!
Ken has such a lovely oasis, it's easy to forget the surrounding city. The apartment is neat, quiet, and takes you back to a time when gazing into a fire-place was more important than channel-surfing.
We felt very warmly welcomed by Ken & Kenny (and their 4-legged buddies) and slept safe & cozy in their secret garden.
This was the perfect place to (website hidden) was exactly as advertised, private, clean, well looked after, with an enchanting yard.Hosts Kenny & Ken were very welcoming, and helpful.Loved the neighbourhood with all the well-maintained historical houses.Could walk to restaurants which is a real plus. Will definitely stay here next time I am in LA.
Ken and Kenny were super nice and helpful with any questions that we had throughout our trip! Their home was beautiful as it showed and the pictures don't even do it justice! Gorgeous neighborhood and area, perfect for going on relaxing walks or simply just hanging around outside! We appreciate the kindness we received and would love to come back in the future.
Our hosts were friendly and very helpful and made us feel welcome and checked that we had everything that we needed. The place was a two-story guest house separate from the main house. It was set back from the streets and was very quiet. We went on a couple of walks in the neighborhood and found it to be very safe and interesting -- had some historical homes built in the late 1920's to mid 1930's. The location for us was great so that we could visit relatives who lived within a few miles. The yard was more like a garden and very pleasant to walk through as we were coming and going. We will definitely try to stay there again on future trips.
Ken was incredibly welcoming and the space itself was just as pictured. Plenty of space, clean and new amenities, full kitchen, and the upstairs-downstairs layout provided privacy between the sleeping areas. The backyard is gorgeous - I wish I had more time to spend lounging in their lush grass, surrounded by citrus trees and the house's friendly dogs! I didn't have much chance to explore the surrounding area because I was there to spend time with family for Thanksgiving, but I know that this location is close to lots that Long Beach has to offer. I would definitely stay here again!
I am a traveler who has always enjoyed local hospitality. Kenny has a big heart and loves welcoming people into our family. Together, we enjoy the opportunities of meeting others brought together through AirBnB.
Much of my traveling has been via my bicycle, which I feel is an awesome way to get to know local culture! Kenny and I also travel the country looking for great places to kayak.
