Across the street from The Grove, LA's premier outdoor shopping/entertainment center and CBS Television studios. Walking distance from many restaurants/shops, Pan Pacific Park and LACMA.

The neighborhood is great for visitors.

Some of the great places within short walking distance:

It's a walkable area with lots of restaurants, shops and bars.
There's buses close to the apt
No smoking and no pets
The listing was exactly the way I expected it based on the photos and descriptions. It was actually a lot more spacious than I had imagined and the apt was very clean and well-kept. Luz was easy to contact and responded fairly quickly! It was just a short distance away from The Grove and LACMA (although I would probably drive, but walking is totally doable) and had a gas station conveniently located a block down. I would recommend my friends to stay here and definitely look into booking this place again in the future.
Truly appreciate Luz prompt feedback.
The apartment is in a great location!
You’ve the best sandwiches ever at “Potato Chips Deli Sandwishes” @ Spauding & Beverly or a grab bite at Canter’s on Fairfax a fantastic classic dinner with great food open 24h/day!
This is the second time I stayed at Luz' apartment. She is extremely professional and responsive and the apartment is exactly as advertized. It is a simply furnished, 1 bedroom that works perfectly. Great internet, wonderful shower and bath, full kitchen, television, safe location, comfortable bed and a neighborhood that cannot be beat: you are near Trader Joe's, Erewhon Natural Foods (if you are rich), Cantor's Deli, Farmer's Market and the Grove, LA County Museum of Art, a zillion great restaurants and boutique stores on Beverly and Melrose and a few miles from Beverly Hills. I hope to be able to make return visits to Luz' apartment in the future when I need to come to LA unless Luz moves.
When we were there Luz was out of town. We phoned her a few days prior to out trip and she explained exactly how do we get the keys.
The apartment was exactly as she described it and the location was the main attraction of this apartment. It is located about 10 minutes walk from the Grove and the farmers market - great places to spend the evenings with restaurants and shops. Excellent area!
We had a nice stay at Luz's place. Her apartment is in a convenient and central location, however not very close to restaurants and nightlife. Luz's place had plenty of room for two guests, the apartment was simple and tidy, however not overly clean.
We contacted Luz a couple times during our stay with questions and Luz replied very quickly and helped us out with all our needs.
Also the bedroom was quite noisy at night due to the apartment being very close to a main road and right next to a gas station.
Our stay was pleasant and suitable for our needs.
Luz was wonderful! We never came in contact (which at least for us is always ideal) she had the key ready for the apartment and her directions to get into he house were simple and concise. The area this apartment is in was great, directly across the street from the CBS studio, lots of good restaurants and shopping and you're practically in Beverly Hills!! The beach was only a half hours drive (take surface streets if you want a fabulous little tour of all the swanky shops, houses ect. in Beverly Hills. So fun! Luz was also super nice when it came to check in and check out, very flexible.
The host: Luz was very responsive and quick. Very easy to get in her place. The place: If you never stayed in an LA place before, you need to know that most apartments have not been updated for decades. That said, Luz has decorated it as lovely as possible. It was a bit warm in the apartment (no AC), but a cool air comes in from the bathroom window, so if you aim the fan from the bathroom to the living area, it helps! The location: You can't beat the location. Walking distance to The Grove and LACMA.
