  • Cozy apartment as others have said, and very very clean and tidy. The kitchen area and sink and the bathroom were as clean as one would wish--as were the other spaces. Nice water pressure and temperature in the shower as well. Danielle left good notes and things for us to use - large comfy towels, coffee maker, and an array of dishes and pots and pans for cooking we might do. A small table for either eating or dropping things off when returning to the apartment after a long day.

Our only discomfort was the noise of the radiators and the high temperature at night during a prolonged cold spell. This is very typical of New York City apartments, I am told - and for anyone who likes a hot room to sleep in, it would not be a problem. We used earplugs and left the window open a crack in the evening before bedtime - but just be aware if you prefer to sleep in a cool (website hidden) the other three seasons, I don't imagine this would be an issue at all. In general, the street was quiet, so street noises at night were not a problem. Also, we had virtually no noise or footsteps from neighbors.

As others have said, the neighborhood is safe and so convenient to many things - shops, restaurants, the subway, museums, the park. Walking back late at night was not a problem.

Danielle herself was very communicative, responding to queries before we stayed and during. She was also flexible about check in times and getting the key to us conveniently. A great host.

  • Danielle's apartment is absolutely wonderful.

I didnt know what to expect as it was the first time i was using airbnb but Danielle was absolutely fantastic in helping us with everything. Her apartment is a very short walk (10 minutes) to the subway which is on the 6 line and makes it easy to travel downtown. Cental park was only a 15 minute walk away. And a 2 minute walk and you have everything you could need for groceries and cafes and resaurants. The location of Danielle's place is simply superb.

The apartment itself has everything you could ever need. and more. I dont have the words to describe how clean and tidy this place is.

After walking around NYC and shopping or just being out it was relly nice to come back to such a cosy and warm place. The building itself is very safe and the area is fantastic.

Danielle was always available to attend to any queries we had. A wonderful person and such a good energy.

This most definitely became a home from home for us and i would Love to stay here again.

Warm, Cosy, Safe, Clean, Tidy, Convenient, Spacious and all at a more than resonable rate.

Better than what you see in the pictures.

    Thanks again Danielle :)

*For those heading to NYC for the first time, the subway from here to other areas is Very safe. May i also suggest to get the $30 unlimited weekly pass, this helped a lot.

  • Danielle has a lovely apartment in a great location with everything you might need and is a great host as well! Everything went perfectly smoothly. It made our stay in NYC very comfortable, and I would highly recommend it over a hotel.

  • We enjoyed our stay in Danielle's apartment. She met us at the apartment, gave us a quick tour and checked in with us a few days later to make sure everything was fine. Location is awesome - close to subway and many things to do. We had a great time and hope we can stay again on our next visit to NYC.

Everything was great! Nice quiet location near Central Park, Subway in a short walking distance. The apartment was very clean with everything you need even for a much longer stay! Danielle is a great, friendly and communicative host. Check-in / Check-out was no problem even though we were two hours late.
If we come back to New York we would definitly choose Danielle's apartment again!

  • Apartment was very clean and spacious. The apartment is on a safe street and is only a 5 minute walk to the 6 subway station.

  • We loved Danielle's apartment in NYC, it was cosy & comfortable and it was perfect to come home to at the end of the day. The street is really safe and the location is fantastic! Just 5-10 minutes walk to the nearest subway station and only minutes from cafe's, shops & restaurants. Danielle was a fantastic host, she made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at her apartment & she was quick & easy to communicate with. This was our first visit to New York and we would definately stay at Danielle's apartment again.
