This one bedroom suite is recently renovated and located in a charming historical log home, which is featured in magazines! It has a comfortable queen size bed for two, living room, bathroom and a private entrance from the rest of the house.
The property is large enough to enjoy your own private quiet time with a view of the sunset over the water from the porch, or you can socialize with us. We might even have the fireplace going in the log house, so join us for a fireside chat. You are welcome to the cereal and tea or coffee for breakfast in the kitchen.
You have free wifi, simple breakfast, and free parking. You will also have a close walk to all things exciting like Fort Henry, Royal Military College, downtown waterfront, Queen's, restaurants, bars, etc.
Feel free to borrow our bikes to explore the town (we will give you our own guide book on hikes, walks with a list of our favourite restaurants and bars in town).

My fiance and I had a lovely stay at Emma and Sushee's log cabin over a FREEZING cold Valentines/Family Day long weekend. The pictures are lovely but they don't come close to showing how charming the suite is! Full of pretty and quirky antiques, Emma and Sushee have put a lot of love into their little getaway spot. It's very private and yet E & S are very accessible and super attentive. We were treated to breakfast in bed on Monday morning! I loved the romantic touches that Emma put out since she knew it was our getaway from wedding planning. It really made us feel welcome and pampered!
Even though it was -30C outside, and much of Kingston's attractions were closed for the winter or the holiday, we loved our stay and can't wait to come back in warmer months!
Charming, quiet and exactly as described. Sadly, we only had one night in this beautiful suite. We enjoyed exploring the historic neighbourhood, the view of the lake and Emma's hospitality. Emma met us upon arrival and was attentive to anything we needed. We would love to return and stay longer next time, Thankyou!
Emma was great - she was available by text the day of check-in and accommodated our need to check in late. The suite is just as described and as it appears in the photos. It is charming and cozy, and in a pretty spot overlooking the water. It's close to downtown but has a lovely remote feeling - almost as though you're in the country. There were lots of thoughtful touches - print-outs of information about the area including maps and suggestions for activities in kingston, as well as the offer of coffee and french toast in the morning. I'd highly recommend this spot!
Emma and Sushee were great hosts. We arrived pretty late in the evening but they made arrangements and the place is so charming. Original features such as the exposed beams mixed with modern updates like the electrical in the bathroom. We love it, it was perfect. There is a bar fridge, kettle and dishes. They left us cereal, milk and orange juice and I am sure would have provided anything else should we have needed it.
We really enjoyed our stay in Sushee and Emma's beautiful suite in Kingston. This was one of our first experiences with airbnb, and Sushee and Emma were very welcoming and helpful with respect to their knowledge of the area and suggestions on where to dine. Their suite is tastefully decorated, very clean and quiet. We loved the close proximity to downtown and the scenic lake across the street from their home. The fruit, coffee and yogurt in our suite was a nice touch and we enjoyed spending some time talking with them when they welcomed us into their lovely kitchen in the morning. We highly recommend staying with Sushee and Emma and will definitely do so again when we return to Kingston.
The listing is just as the pictures indicate. Sushee was quick to greet us and showed us the suite.
For a cottage setting suite, the unit was clean. A few cobwebs in the corners, but nothing that a quick once over with a duster wouldn't take care of.
The place was quiet, bed was firm and wifi strong. What was missing in this unit were a few curtains, and some coffee... otherwise a great stay.
Thank you for your suggestions, Chris. We came back from Toronto the same day and cleaned the suite in a hurry. Unfortunately, I accidentally took the black pepper to your suite (as its jar looks the same as our coffee one), and forgot the mugs. I'm so sorry! As for privacy, we put in a new barn door to give more privacy. Please come back and visit us. Thanks again for your review.

My husband, Sushee, and I love travelling, cooking and a variety of outdoor activities like skiing, sailing and hiking (we'll give you a list of "secret" hiking trails and places to visit around Kingston). I'm a stay home mom with a newborn and Sushee is an entreprenuer and a part-time pilot (he might even take you flying over the 1000 Islands if you ask nicely). Hopefully through Air BnB, we could meet some new friendly smiles around the world.
