I had a great time in the apartment. Very comfortable and they welcomed me with fruit. Very kind people. The apartment was in a good location and easy to situate myself quickly. One observation, there is no hot tub as listed in the amenities. True, who needs a hot tub when you are in a hot country....but I am a fish, I love water. Besides that, everything was as listed. Internet was sufficient for reading the news but not good enough for VOIP or facetime. Forget about downloading any videos. It is hard to find good wifi in China. I have been spoiled by US high speed internet. I would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a comfortable place to relax and explore the city.

邓阿姨 is very nice and friendly. We arrived late at night and couldn't really locate the correct residential block as it was dark. However, she promptly appeared and directed us to the right apartment. She is easily contactable and is very accomodating. The apartment is in a relatively old neighbourhood but the unit is spacious with a king bed and a double bed which could well accommodate 3-5 people. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. Toilet condition is okay- we have seen much worse during our entire trip. Hot water, wifi, aircon function well. 24 hour security is a safe neighbourhood. Location is good- walking distance to Xinnanmen Bus terminal, near city centre. Price is affordable. Overall, had a good experience living there. For the budget conscious- this is a good choice!

As the photos demonstrate, the apartment is spacious and has multiple beds, one double and one single, as well as a couch. The apartment is located conveniently right across the river from the Chengdu Bus Terminal, making get-aways to Emeishan, Leshan, and the surrounding areas convenient. It's about a 15 minute walk from the closest metro stop, either Jinjiang Hotel on the blue line or Chunxi on the orange. However, 邓阿姨 did not provide us with sufficient directions to arrive on our own from the metro, and after two hours of asking at almost every building along Binjiang Zhong Lu, she sent her mother to meet us on a corner. Her mother is very friendly and well meaning but speaks only Chinese, so arriving/ navigating/ and interacting with your host may be more challenging than anticipated for guests who don't speak Chinese. As some other reviewers mentioned, the apartment was not spotlessly clean and the bathroom can be quite smelly. I live in Taipei and am used to buildings with shared plumbing, and travel on a budget very often. I definitely don't expect hotel-level cleanliness at any place I am traveling to, but I do expect a basic level of cleanliness, and at the very least for the last person who used the toilet to have ensured their waste was removed from it. After two hours struggling to find the place, cleaning the toilet upon arrival wasn't the most welcome. Otherwise, the apartment was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet. 邓阿姨's mother kindly lent us her bus passes to get around the city. There is a kitchen, but the refrigerator was completely filled with large cured meats, so if we had cooked we would not have been able to make use of the cold storage whatsoever.

Although we didn't get to meet, her family was very nice and helpful! Her mom and sister met me when I arrived and made sure I had everything I needed in the apartment. She also helped me out with going to Mt. Qingcheng. Since I am not from China and I don't speak Chinese I found the place difficult to find (the street numbering system works differently than I am used to). Just make sure you have good directions ahead of time or a cell phone that you can call with.

I stayed a couple of days in mrs. Deng's place with a friend in May. The best thing about this place is its location. It's supercentral and for that reason good value for money. There's also a very nice bar closeby: Dave's Oasis. There are three things which maybe are not so great (but what can you expect for this price): - the windows don't close completely. Therefore we had a lot of mosquito bites. - the bathroom is always a bit smelly and not very comfortable (Chinese toilet, water temperature difficult to regulate) - mrs Deng is very nice and speaks some English. However, it is difficult to communicate if you don't know any Chinese.

The apartment is quiet and clean within a safe neighborhood, very suitable for small group travel (3-5 people). Auntie Deng was a warm hostess. First day I arrived, she kindly offered me to borrow her bus card which was quite useful during my whole journey. She also came in timely and helped me when I accidentally broken the drawer lock. I enjoyed my stay, thank you!

Hospitality: She was kind enough to show taxi driver the direction to the venue. Her response were quick for our requests. Location: It is located very convenient area. Room: The building is quite old. Room is clean enough and spacious. (But it was not as good as picture...) The speed of Wifi was also OK.
