The camper was a perfect fit for our spontaneous trip to Austin. The camper itself was cozy, the AC was much needed and worked pretty well, and it was great to have the mini fridge. It was really fun showering in the backyard and using the shed as the restroom, and everything- soap, towels, wash clothes, etc - was provided which was really great. Privacy didn't seem like an issue. It was easy to check in/out. There was a friendly cat that hung out in the backyard, also a plus. The location seemed fine. The neighborhood was pretty cute and comfortable. It was a quick trip, but I don't think we were in walking distance to any sight-seeing. I think you would need to have a car to make the location work. It was a great place to stay for our one-night trip, and a second night would have been fine too, but I wouldn't stay much longer than 2 nights. The bed and pillows were comfortable, but not as luxurious as a hotel. So we slept okay, but more than a couple nights would have been rough. Same for the shower/bathroom. Totally okay for that one night, but it would get tedious over time.

I was a little worried about the outdoor shower, but it turned out to be a treat during the September heat. The outdoor cat who hangs around was a real sweetie, I would definitely advise any cat-loving traveler to book this place and enjoy his company!

The camper was a nice alternative place to stay. It was a bit of a walk from downtown, but the space was very similar to the photos. Inside the camper there was plenty of information regarding things to do in the area (phamplets, magazines, etc). Angel was also nice enough to send over very detailed instructions regarding check in / things to do in the area. She responded very quickly. Overall, I'd recommend this to someone who wants to have a unique airbnb experience.

This place was super cute. Easy check in and check out. Amazing house cat that totally made our trip. The outside shower was really nice at night. Angel was super easy to reach via text if we were to need her. Would recommend, for sure.

I love sharing my home with friends and strangers alike. I've lived in Austin for 13 years and am happy to point you to spots off the beaten path (Cathedral of Junk) to the sparkling jewels in the middle of the city (Barton Springs). I'm a User-Experience Designer for a Clean Tech/Energy Management start-up. I love the challenge and rewards of conserving in all aspects of life. I enjoy bike riding, brewing and drinking craft beer, gardening, petting my chickens, sewing and DIY projects, seeing live music, traveling, and eating great food. I've only been to 13 countries and 25 states. I most recently spent a few months in Hawaii living off grid on a living farm that is doing reforestation on the Big Island.
