Loved this little trailer! Used it for a photo shoot for the perfect little touch of vintage. So close to everything in town making it so easy to get there and back home or grab supplies.

Our stay started off on a pretty bad note, we arrived after 2 pm which was the check in time. There was a car parked in the spot we were supposed to have so we parked in the front of the house and told Angel but asked if there were any other places to park. We were then told we couldn’t park there because that spot was for guests staying in the house(nobody stayed there while we were there so nobody was using the spot) but we weren’t given any other options for parking. We went to drop our bags off in the camper but we were greeted by a woman blocking the gate so we couldn’t get in who asked “what’s this about?” We told her we were staying in the camper but she told us to come back in 20 minutes because it wasn’t ready for us yet. We got back in our car and drove around exploring the surrounding neighborhood for about 45 minutes, we drove back but the car was still in our spot. We’re not sure what time they finished because we decided to spend the afternoon at Zilker instead of waiting around. We came back around 5 to get settled in, the camper and the yard was adorable. There was a cat hanging around, which would have been nice to know as my boyfriend has extremely bad allergies. The cat kept running into the shed and pawing at the bags of cat food that were in there anytime we opened the door which was kind of frustrating because he couldn’t go near the cat to have it move because of his allergies. The cat also sat outside the camper meowing all morning. I assumed that it was just a stray until we saw the food bowl and bags of food in the shed. The camper itself was very cozy, the sheets were soft and the bed was comfortable. While the temperature was comfortable, the AC was extremely loud and I couldn’t sleep with it on. We turned it off then noticed that the mini fridge was also super loud as well which was annoying since it was about 4 feet away from us and turning it off wasn’t an option. Overall our stay was pretty comfortable. I would have liked to get into the camper at 2(or at least a warning that it wasn’t ready) so we could have planned around it. Definitely wouldn’t pay $100 again to stay there. The cat was cute but definitely be aware in case you have allergies because he was very friendly and will rub on you and try to get in the camper/shed if you’re not expecting it.

It's a mini camping trip in the city. When you're here, you forget about the hustle and bustle right outside the fence. Super cute place!

I love sharing my home with friends and strangers alike. I've lived in Austin for 13 years and am happy to point you to spots off the beaten path (Cathedral of Junk) to the sparkling jewels in the middle of the city (Barton Springs). I'm a User-Experience Designer for a Clean Tech/Energy Management start-up. I love the challenge and rewards of conserving in all aspects of life. I enjoy bike riding, brewing and drinking craft beer, gardening, petting my chickens, sewing and DIY projects, seeing live music, traveling, and eating great food. I've only been to 13 countries and 25 states. I most recently spent a few months in Hawaii living off grid on a living farm that is doing reforestation on the Big Island.
