This newly remodeled 60's trailer is the perfect escape to the quintessential Austin experience but will all the modern amenities. The trailer has a full bed, internet, air conditioning/heat, mini-fridge, and 3-in-1 breakfast center (coffee, griddle, toaster oven). Next to the trailer is a shed that is being converted to bathroom with a private outdoor shower with hot water.

If you only rent the trailer you will have access to the trailer, bathroom, patio, and free parking in the back of the house. I also have bikes that are available for use. Prior to your arrival, I will provide you with the location to retrieve keys to the camper.

I am happy to give you as much privacy or interaction as you prefer during your stay. I love meeting my guests and sharing recommendations so don't hesitate to ask. I work normal business hours but I am available via text or email if any urgent issues come up. Be sure to check out my online guidebook (desktop version only) by clicking on the map tab.

The neighborhood

I have lived in East Austin for 12 years and love the thriving artist, urban gardening, DIY community. The neighborhood is within close proximity to downtown, South Austin, UT and all the other hip central places to visit.

East Austin is where you will find amazing food, all kinds of art, music, DIY house shows, loose chickens and wylie and friendly neighbors to talk to. Airbnb has a great East Austin neighborhood guide. Check it out:

I also have a few other properties in East and South Austin. Check them out on my profile page.

I love sharing my home with friends and strangers alike. I've lived in Austin for 13 years and am happy to point you to spots off the beaten path (Cathedral of Junk) to the sparkling jewels in the middle of the city (Barton Springs). I'm a User-Experience Designer for a Clean Tech/Energy Management start-up. I love the challenge and rewards of conserving in all aspects of life. I enjoy bike riding, brewing and drinking craft beer, gardening, petting my chickens, sewing and DIY projects, seeing live music, traveling, and eating great food. I've only been to 13 countries and 25 states. I most recently spent a few months in Hawaii living off grid on a living farm that is doing reforestation on the Big Island.
